Original Spider-Man comics are to the 1984 TMNT comics. They are the founders.

Toei Spider-Man (or Japanese Spider-Man) is to 1987 TMNT cartoon show. They are loosely based on the founders, but became popular and successful during their times, while they were given vehicles to sell their toyline.

Spider-Man 1-3 films are to the 2003 TMNT cartoon show. They are like remakes of the founders.

I've never really realized how different the old cartoon turtles are compared to the 2003 ones. The 87's acts like kids. =) And Mikey loves them. Figured that. :) Raph hates their guts... No surprise there either. X)

Ok, this is very strange for me. It's like when you have a new girlfriend, and then your ex shows up and meet your new one, and everything is just awkward and you starting to think "Are they gonna kill each other or hug each other..."

I know the New Yorkers have never seen life size talking turtles before, but it kinda pisses me off a little. Take the pizza guy for example. All Michealangelo was trying to do was order a pizza and what does he do? He stares for a half a second and runs off. I mean come on, it's not like he was trying to eat you or anything. Sometimes, it disgusts me how shallow people can be.
