i like this video. helps a lot, if you listen to the instructions as i did you can put the gun back together in about 10 min easy. but! i did have trouble with the head screw when i wanted to put another spring on, if anyone else has this problem i'd try sticking the whole thing in the freezer for about 20 min the the screw will come out easy.

I just did this to mine. Was a nightmare to put back to gether to work properly. After 2 hours I got it done. The reloading is alot harder then before but It shoots about double the speed from before. Thanks for the instructions!

i went to Home Depot and bought a pack of really hard stainless steel springs, and put one in a nitefinder. when i was putting it back together, it felt like there was so much tension from the spring that i thought the gun would explode internally, but it didnt. now its hard as heck to reload, but it shoots very far and HURTS LIKE CRAP!!

should i put the same type of spring in a longshot?

streching the spring a little can add just as much extra tension as two springs

after you stretch the spring it will slowly compress and end up not working after awhile.

@NathynKelly .springs compress , thats the way they roll . but by not strecthing the crap out of it .. only slightly increasing the tension....whether u use two springs , or one spring they all lose tension.

i have 3 springs on one gun , Ive replaced a lot of the plastic for metal and just like a real slug or bb gun I expect to go in and retension the springs regularly.

If u use a claw hammer 2 take out the bolt sled, r u sure it won't break or damage the bolt sled? The toy is made of plastic n my family keeps sayin "The plastic will break and u will have wasted $30."

@midlefngerproduction its not a problem. during this mod you remove the prime lock. that means that you can prime it, but still be able to cock it multiple times usualy to remove a clip after its been loaded. if for some wierd reason you want to stop that, just put the prime lock back in.

You're internals are in the wrong place then.

@SportzDude32 i had the same problem too, when you put the spring in and put the head back on, make sure that the it goes on completely. just spin it around till it goes in and screw it back on. its also smart to add padding on the plunger head to stop that extra spring power from hitting the plastic together. itll make ur blaster last alot longer.
