This one's a mood song for me... I love it, but I can find myself not in the mood for it. All part of her artistic bent. Funny... listening again while I type this... ; ) I hope to see her live next year but I'll not be in Melborn. Perhaps the gods will allow her to be in Sydney then.
truly piercing voice, shit song....i like her covers tons and minimalism and skeletal songs can be extraordinary but this kind of mindless droning with several affected,self-conscious lines over just doesnt sit well, totally vexing how bland this is...and that screaming gag at the end, is stupid and a student sophomoric vying for originality...thus is just one haughty artsy idea mediated through filter of crap musicianship....voice is good tho
There can be only one..... Emma Russack. God bless you and keep you safe wherever you are, Emma, and thank you for the music that only you could have given us.
invite Emma Russack fans to my site to view animated characters lip-synching her beautiful voice. "Jungle Love" was inspired by Emma donning a gorilla mask on her myspace site. Thanks!
If John Bonham had been a minimalist, he would've played like Paul here. The loudness is for effect, and the overall feeling conveyed throughout the song is not only theatrical but honoring Hitchcock in a way that he would truly love and appreciate. All the starzzzzz...

Cool tune - A bit too much reverb for my tastes though. Not bad for a live recording :)
