As far as we know, "Lucie" was simply a female name/nonsence word, along the lines of the name "Freda Peeple" used in the subtitle. Lennon often chose words that simply sounded good or had nonsence meanings...Your guess is as good as mine...some think he meant LSD/Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (but some assume that meaning for EVERYTHING, lol) I suspect it was just a throwaway word. and since it doesn't appear in the actual song, can it really be that important?
