@legendof candy was on most of the takedowns the opponent popped right back up, your supposed to hold position for a solid 3 seconds before getting points. obviously on many of them they didn't hold for 3 seconds, you would know that if you knew how the scoring system worked.
@carlsongracieteam I thought a takedown was two points, if the person is planted and cannot fight anymore. I've never competed alongside a who did not count a takedown if the position was not held for three seconds. I know mount and control should be three seconds. I compete IBJJF, Gracie Nationals and USABJJ once. Each ref is different though.
@legendof actually go look at ibjjf rules lol, it says you have to complete a takedown and keep the opponent controlled for 3 seconds, and I never said it wasnt 2 points.
Matt Sera did better than I thought. Terere is so good, most opponents don't last too long with him.. Both great fighters. Very enjoyab le vid.Thanks!
@holdyerground1 i don't know the specifics of these rules, but at some comps (e.g. ibjjf tournies) clean throws on the back don't need subsequent control to score.
Terere referencia, jiu jitsu alem de eficiente sempre pra cima. VOLTA, quem é faixa preta deveria apoia o cara e ajuda lo a vence essa luta ou inventa alguma coisa.
I'm going to assume that you're replying to someone else, because I never took sides for anyone in this match. I agree that Terere won fair and square, and that he would most likely work Serra over in a gi match. I didn't see him win this match easy however.
porra é inacreditavel q um cara de guarda fechada reclame de falta de combatitividade...

How did Serra lose?????? He was winning.
socalled47 1 year ago
@socalled47
terere had a takedown immediately after serra's last sweep (according to the ref) then he basically stalled the last 15 seconds for the win.

the reff gave points where he shouldnt have a few of those takedowns were simply knockdowns and no dominant position was gained afterwords
MyDave22 1 year ago
Lol he gave Terere 2 points for the takedown with zero follow up control at 7:43.
