the animation is done after the show. all the audience and cast sees is the improv in front of the green screen.

The studio audience cannot see the animation hon, they just see the actors and the green screen, only we can see it on tv because the animators come in after they tape the show.

So no the audience cannot see the animation.

I guess we are the lucky ones hahaha!
