oh! please help! you did help me, but i seem to have a problem. im making a christmas tree shape, and i can add those points, or rather, i have the bezier bits so that i can change the shape of the line. but one of my "points", disappears. ie, i can only alter one side of the line, not the other side. does that make sense?
@veganpea This is a common issue I deal with everyday with Illustrator!
What I do is hold down the ALT key (or OPTION for mac) and I get the Covert Anchor Point and click once on my point and that deletes both anchors then I undo (CTRL + Z or CMD + Z) and then both my anchors come back.
