The role is all about talent. They had me speak for Annie twice and sing this. It doesn't matter about age, but they need someone who can belt out her songs. My mom said tht they can't have a total fluke for this song or it ruins the WHOLE show!

The thing about young girls singing Annie is this - Andrea was already like 13 when she did this part. She's supposed to be like 11 or 12 because they keep referencing that they're faking her age in the.script. I don't know why they cast 8 year olds in this part. Sheesh!
