[Tutorial] Fixing audio desync in VBA-recorded movies.

Neither the video compression or the audio compression options were there in my Virtual Dub...

is there any other way to sync it without virtual dub? my editing program only allows one type of video compressor or else it messes up the video, but that compressor will only work with syncing one video a day.

Errr... Good tutorial, except when I try to save it, this error message comes up:

Error initializing audio stream compression:

The audio codec cannot compress the source audio to the desired format.

Check that the sampling rate and number of channels in the source is compatible with the selected compressed audio format.

PLEASE HELP!

I use VBA Recorder to record GBA games. It never desynchs.

This should be extremely useful for SNES9x movies though. Much better than HyperCam anyway.

I have a question though. If the movie starts with no sound, will the"silence" be present in the audio track? I'm asking this because, if the audio and video don't start at the same moment, it won't sync properly with this method, and I don't want to screw around with audio delay to make it work.

Depends on how you compressed it, some compression methods may fault the video quality, but it will take up less space.

just try a lot of compression methods by changing the video codecs and audio ones.
