  • No gift cards back then?

  • Hahhaa and George had to get her $91..

  • I love Kramer's reaction "Ohhh! The relationship" LMAO

  • 1:55 door is open 2:00 its closed

  • Yeats.

  • @sanjurodog no, yates hahahahaha

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA Yeats. Yates. Let's call the whole thing off. lol

Thanks for pointing out my mistake though. Do you do that all day? :D

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA ummm..."Think where mans glory most begins and ends, and say my glory was I had such friends."

    William Butler Yeats - Google

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA ...i think it's just pronounced "Yates." ;) lol

  • @sanjurodog whos Yeats?kramer may say..

  • yeeds ... LOL

  • why is the audio so low? the fuck

  • Poor Jerry in this! But, not really, because this is, rather naturally, so Seinfeld-esque.

I do wonder what George may been pressured into having improvised for Elaine in regards to this birthday of hers...

  • Kramer wraps only the top of the gift.lol

  • YOU BOUGHT ME CAAASH? WHAT AN IDIOT. SHE`S SUCH AN EXCUSE FOR A WOMAN.

  • @woohoo123456100 she says "got" not "bought"

  • I'm happy with $182 for a birthday present.. would sort out my internet bill!! (and I'm a girl!)

  • Poor Elaine!!! I can't stand why men sometimes are jackass!!!! Kramer is so cute, he remembered her birthday and the perfect present for her !!!! Love you Kramer!!!!!!

  • @FreakyBloodyLady you do know it's a SHOW, right?

  • Yeats.

    Subtitle people. Yeats. YEATS.

  • It SAID - and MORE....

  • She could probably give a better blowjob than fellatia blow.

  • If you watch this episode with the commentary with Larry David and Jerry, Larry tells us that Elaine cried about 20 times after reading that poem by Yeats and you can see her almost tearing up again.

  • @m3loveg0ld You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar and I agree with this.

  • The best bit is when George has to give her half that amount of cash

  • Aww... Poor Elaine feels cheap and insulted. Bull shit! What did she expect when decides to sleep with a friend. I'm sick of her playing the innocent card.

  • @m3loveg0ld It's one thing if you are giving money to your grandson or nephew. But if the gift is for your girlfriend, you should care enough about her to put thought into the gift.

  • @m3loveg0ld Because you're not a girl. They appreciate when people put some thought into what they get for them. Money is just a lazy idea.

  • aw kramers such a good friend

  • like something her uncle would give her lol kramers' right

  • Yates :) Quite possibly Kramer's funniest line.

  • Yates!

  • Yates!

  • 182 dollars as a gift haha funny lol

  • i dont get women. euphoric over a bench, enraged over free money.

  • what seaon and what is this episode called

  • @go5mas Gift cards are just cash that you can only spend in a certain place. I would prefer cash, and I would much prefer a gift :P

  • Why is everybody so down on "Pal"?

  • Elaine: Pal??? You think I'm your pal??!!

    Jerry: It says "and more"

Struck out on that one Jerry lol

  • Lol, I always hope for cash when it's my birthday or it's Christmas. I've gotten too much stuff I don't need or don't like. I know most of my friends and family try their best but I guess my taste is too particular.

  • "Well goody for you"! LMFAO

  • did anyone else notice when kramer enters jerry's house the door behind kramer is open, then its closed, then its open again

  • only sitcom i can watch

  • W B Yeats!

  • Yates

  • @TheCarpenter90 Yates!

  • To a wonderful girl, a great PAL, and MORE?!

  • efectivo?

  • giving cash to friends, lovers and siblings is just a bad idea

  • The most thoughtful gift is cash, check, or gift card. Because you put into consideration their choosing what they want. And nothing, NOTHING, is more thoughtful than that. Elaine is straight bitch. Always needing something or someone to villianize. It's part of her demented personality structure to nit pick, attack, and tear down.

  • @SumNJFella, I'm sorry buy I've never had a girlfriend who would've accepted that, and I wouldn't of accepted cash from them either. The message you're giving is, I'm just too lazy & inconciderate to place any thought & time into something special for you so I'm taking the easy road in giving you cash.

  • @Radwar99 If you really know someone, you shouldn't have a problem picking out a gift! I only accept cash gifts from people who don't know me well.

  • @SumNJFella

Are we seriously judging a Seinfeld character here?Seriously? If Elaine is a "straight bitch" then whats in store for the rest?Theyre all fucked up,and I love them that way.

And no,giving cash to your girlfriend as a gift is not a good idea (unless she asks for it) and its not thoughtfull either. Its an easy way out where you dont have to take responsibility for having to choose something for her.

that beingsaid,I would have reacted a little more kindly towards Jerry.

  • $182 is certaintly nothing to sneeze at

  • Yeah, if you're buying a gift for your sister or even your parents or a friend, then by all means, give them a gift card or a $20. If it is your pregnant girlfriend, then try again.

P.S. Sharniticus is my boyfriend and the father the child I am carrying and today is both of our bdays and he got me nothing. So he found a card sitting around the house, wrote a note in it and put $100 cash in it and expects me to think that's an acceptable gift for his pregnant girlfriend.

  • Soo...3 weeks later after you wrote that comment.

I'm just curious, hows your relationship?

  • ILL TAKE CASH

  • Watch the door when Kramer talks.

  • wow good noticing

  • Giving someone money cash or in a check is about the coldest gift someone can give. It's like saying here you go 182 Dollars ought to be enough to get you something nice, which I could have done myself but I didn't want to do the effort...

  • $182? thats like ur grandmother giving you a check for $12 on ur birthday hahaha

  • haha poor jerry--he so thought he'd given her a good gift. lol VERY FUNNY

  • The way she goes, "let me see the card" like shes giving him a pitiful chance to redeem himself.. LOL!!

  • jerry's shirt is the shirt george is wearing in the first seinfeld dialogue in the related videos

  • haha cash...

  • Sorry to be a pedant but it's spelt Yeats. Still beautiful though!

  • Very beautiful poem by Yates.

    Jesper, Denmark

  • devil is no self

  • What a lovely scene! Elaine hugging Kramer, aww. And I love Yates' poems too <3.

  • Elaine:to a wonderful girl,to a great "pal" pal?! you think im your pal!? Jerry:why is everybody so down on pal?

  • ALSO, he forgot to take the things the old man gave him.

  • i've never seen this episode. were jerry and elaine together as a couple?

  • They were a couple before the show started -- for this episode, they made an elaborate deal in which they worked out how to have sex but stay "just friends". It went down the drain pretty quickly, mainly because the concept of their relationship was forced by the network execs and shot down by the fans -- because it obviously won't work for their characters. Network execs are assholes who think viewers are incapable of human cognition.

  • cash? you got me cash? you can go out and buy what ever you want. what are you,my uncle?

  • kramer: so whatd u give her?

    jerry: a 182 bucks

  • hmmmm very interesting jerry should have gave her somthing else for her b-day i f u know what i mean:)

  • Julia Louise-Dreyfus' real birthday is January 13th, she's a Capricorn.

    Jerry Seinfeld's April 29th

  • did anyone note a blooper in there? when kramer was talking? the door there is open at one moment, then closed and again open... behind kramer...

  • yes, i saw that

  • 1:56 - 2:13

    lol! NICE catch man

  • it happened right at the 2:00 mark in the video.

  • well spotted - i posted a newman blooper

  • hey can anybody help me to make my own elaine benes sample thingy? :-) these are all very great and i'd just loooove to add my own fave moments (like what do i need, a dvd and a chord to plug into a computer??)

  • Best pal AND MORE!!

    LOL

  • To a great pal and more!

  • Yeah, I remember this. Jerry tells George to give Eleine a gift which is half the price and he gives her 91 dollars

  • She is amazing in skirt, I couldn´t believe that she wore that clothes in the 90´s. All this before wear jeans for The New Adventures of Old Christine (the new milenium). Also, she was hilarious in dress.

  • "yates.." lmao oh jeeze

  • I always thought her hair looked like an updated version of an old school marm when she wore it like this...lol.

  • Thats what makes her funny!

  • haha omg kramer is the coolest.

  • hilarious
