In the states we call them diaphragms, but they are just capacitors whose capacitance varies as they vibrate. Condenser is an old word for capacitor, so you can see how this style of microphone got its name.
Thanks, but I use many guitar and banjo tricks, it´s just a bit confusing with the different tuning (the fourth string is tuned higher than the 2nd and 3rd, a bit like the banjo´s 5th string)
