nah you can access the drive from a nearby computer, for example, you might be one of those people that feel the need to have a laptop/destop, a laptop/laptop, or an air...and external drive. agreed, waste of money, but it's still pretty sexy.

Apple said something about the speaker being under the keyboard. And it's called "Air" for a reason. For a CD, you can wirelessly run one or buy a USB SuperDrive. But personally, it's too expensive. My MacBook Pro works just fine.

Yes, I believe it's called RemoteDisk. You can wirelessly share an optical drive with a Mac/PC that you have the supplied software installed on.

are you joking.. easy to change the battery.. it takes 18 screws just to get it out and then you need to screw another 18 screws to get it back in! not easy at all.. should be able to pop it in and out with no problem.. i mean were in 2008 and apple thought it would be a good idea to make the battery like this, give it on usb port and no CD drive..
