Great, a "3D" image displayed from the ceiling, where you look up at it and it looks flat anyway from your viewpoint. With its 1 meter depth, versus 5x5m size, it will hardly produce any 3D depth or feel. Epic fail in my opinion.

Its just a LED cube matrix display, there is no real possibility for the applications you described. Matrix display design in general is primarly just used in electrical engineering class's to teach the basic concept of multiplexing and shiftregister usage.

@alwayscococolaable From doing some research from what I've found is that when creating holograms that it's so complex and fast rate etc that it causes sounds like that, with smaller holograms your brain cuts it out but on larger ones obviously not, from what I've heard anyway, peace

@alwayscococolaable usually, there's no sound since it's in the center of the trainstation in zürich. I guess they just had a certain kind of show at this time. But it's fairly cool, since there's a big touchscreen where you can manipulate what it does.

Oh, ok, I see how this cube works. But with actual 3D, not using bulbs, you can't get it on a camera without of course having somehow 2 lenses.

Dude, that's the worst 3d display i've seen yet (haha, at least you can see all of the led's in a holocube... but that sucks ass too).

That is NOT 3D, that's more like 2.5D. That device is incapable of, for example, displaying the center-middle LED. You can't see it.

It might as well be a 6 REAL LED screens taped together facing outward in a cube formation (actually, that would be pretty cool, especially compared to this...)
