  • I might've made head-or-tail of all you have said, if the noise/not-appropriate-music or controlled volume were rather done while you edited your video. I believe it would then be far more audible. I shall simply have to find other methods to find out about Düsseldorf before I come again, but this time to spec your property market.

  • I managed to get very cheap tickets to Weeze so I guess we will be spending a night either in Dusseldorf or Cologne (Koln). We are looking forward to it.

  • I would really like to explore more in Germany. The only time I was ever in Germany, was the time I landed at the airport in Dusseldorf for a school trip. Right after that, we had to hussle our bums over to the next terminal so we could head off to the Fiumichino airport in Rome. It was one of the nicest holidays I have taken with any school so far.

  • Oh my God!!!, I lived in Dusseldorf for many, many years and have come to regret moving back to the US, instead of staying. I miss everything about the city and what it has to offer. I wonder if it still is the 'schiki-micki city tho. There is no other, no comparison, to this throbbing city, so full of life and the greatest stores, shops and bistros.

Thank you so much for the tour :)

  • yeah it´s still quite shicky-mickey ... i mea düsseldorf.

  • Hi bloggi, tnx 4 this vid, lived in Duesseldorf & studied @ d Kunstakademie for 5 years. May I feature your short vid @ my Yessy Art site? Tschusss - glenn / from d Philippines

  • Hello Glenn!

Of course, no problem. I'll be glad if the video finds fans as far away as the Philippines.

  • It is a great video tour indeed! I especially like the discipline of german drivers. Driving in downtown San Francisco where cars move chaotically is nowhere like driving in the city centre of Düssdeldorf with its calm and polite drivers.

  • Well, less meets the eye than happens in reality, I am afraid. I was lucky not to come across Audi or BMW-drivers too often. These two kinds of drivers, and in general station wagon drivers are a menace and drive to kill. ;-)

On the other hand, I had to make it a point to drive as smoothly as possible not to create more nausea in viewers than was unavoidable. ;-)

  • One of the best things about Germany.. Thanks to Kraftwerk and Altstadt and Konigsallee and Neu and DAF and bloggi as well.. Viva Dusseldorf!

  • It is a great video!. But for me, it would be better to watch not only the streets but the shops, the deparment stores, pubs and other sites of interest.

  • Hello, yes, you are right... I tried something like that with the museum and the park. In a way this was a first attempt. But maybe it is a basis for a nice tourguide. I will work on that in future videos. Thannks for the comment!

  • You're welcome!. I have been in Düsseldorf three times and it is one of my favorite cities in Germany.

    Viele Grüsse!.

  • if you go onto Graf Adolph Strasse just off from the Dusseldorf Hauptbanhoff and see a yellow building with the sign 'Electro Mueller,' it's the studio of electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. aww yeah!

  • Great video! Your English guide is kind. what a beautiful city!
