my placement is done the same way thats because the tongue is short and under the tongue you have the tongue string or what ever u call it.anyway u can't mess around wid it becuse if u do u wud never speak or speak the same again.thats why he pierce it so that the top wud sit in the middle & the bottom sit a little bit to the front away from the string...........hope that helps

u r suppose to keep ice on ur tongue the first couple days thats wat i had to do...the way ur tongue ring is, is normal its from the swelling it makes it look crocked. the new tongue ring they give u is not to small. the one they put in ur mouth when u first get it peirced is rly long for the swelling. once u r totally healed u can put the new one in. i have had my tongue peirced for almost a year. if u have any questions u can ask me. :) good luck

@iloveqou i have my piercing now since a week the best (for me) was fries or potato fritter i ate this on the next day after i got my tounge pierced and after a few mitutes it worked really good but after an hour my tounge hurt really bad but on the next day it was ok don´t eat rice cause it stucks on your piercing its very hard to eat. to brush the teeth is nearly the same dont brush to fast cause u can hit the piercing. i got no problems since now and im very happy with it :D

I drink my milk and put sour cream on my eggs and ham and my tongue is perfectly fine. I'm on day 7 if u count the day I got it pierced. the piercer did me a favor by putting a pink- ish colored ball on the top of the barbell that matches my tongue color. It looks like a piece of candy and the shape is like half a ball so it doesn't bother the roof of my tongue.
