You can record instruments with the producer version of FL Studio. Basically, these guys around here aren't the people to ask these sort of questions (obviously). I always wonder why people don't bother to check out the manufacturer's website for info on features and stuff. And if you don't know who made it, try a Google search.

And if you make money with your music/movies, I think you should pay for the program. The creators need money too.

fl may not be free butt you can steel save a full mix to your pc butt to be on a cd or load on line you have to do a mix down

Seriously though Fruity Loops is one of the best modulation tools out there but I find that if you work with crappy samples youre just going to make crappy music. When I was younger I used fruity Loops a lot but if your ever goanna go into the music profession as a top producer Fruity Loops I found will just be that kick start. it's not really a logical to use it for bussiness purposes.

Well, commercially speaking, FL Studio AIN'T for free. A good and FREE DAW is LMMS [Linux Multimedia Music Software] it's the same as FL Studio yet with some disadvantages... But it's worth it for starters.
