i've done this over and over albeit not in poison core mode, although i dont see what difference that makes? it still doesn't trigger.

If you do poison core mode the crystal will kill monsters it comes into contact to so by the time the bosses come out you can handle most of the monsters that come out because you won't have to worry about the 2nd boss monster because it will die. I don't know what to really think to suggest except just be really careful when you build the tower at the end and sell your towers, you need to be very spot on with those in order to kill the last guy with the core at the end

Things to note about this method because it acually does work.

1) This is done on poison core mode

2) You must be pretty spot on with timing of when you sell towers and such

3) When i got this i had to keep the meteor tower up in order to hurt the guy who had the crystal more. Hopefully these tips help out

I must be missing something as I have done this exactly like the video several times and it just won't unlock. Anybody have any ideas?

for me what worked was top row two level 3 gun towers and 1 level 1 gun tower and thats it the boss would just get past with no health and just before he got to tyhe exit build a gun tower
