PLUS if you were getting frustrated you could check the referee and get 5 and a game for 'Abuse of Official'.

Also, there was a 'Checking from Behind' penalty years before I saw it on other games.

EA Sports NHL 94-95 were revolutionary for PC sports games. They both were WAY more realistic than the console versions, having full rosters with 20 dressed players, and the ability to scratch players.

I used to spend hours after the trade deadline in NHL 95 doing trades, fixing rosters and jersey numbers.

NHL 94 was the backbone (shipped with a MASSIVE stats book as well) wih NHL 95 adding all the right roster-trade features to take it to the next level.

Is this the NHL game where they have individual clips for each team?? I'm looking for a clip with vancouver and this guy smashes somebody through the glass. A real live video clip. If anybody knows anything please help me.

Nice intro. Wingfan or someone else, please help me with this game. I just won it off ebay and cant get any sound to work using XP. Gameplay is fine I just cant any friggin sound.

This almost looks like NHL '94 here. A disappointmant to this game.

Yeah i guess it kinda does but they did add a few good features like playing a season, creating a player, trading players and the gameplay still looks a little better than 94 for genesis. The best PC hockey game made or 96 or 97. If anyone disagrees, let me know.
