@Scaremonger456 Technically, since thunder is the resultant sound from air rushing in to fill the gap left in the air by the lightning, and since sound travels in waves, every time you hear thunder, you're getting thunderstruck. Of course, being close enough to feel the shockwave from it helps as well.

my family and i were flying from atlanta to chicago illinois to go my grandfathers house anyways the point is that we were flying and we had to take a detour into canada to get around the storm we flied for at least 1 and a half extra time and when we where in the clouds it looked like a flashlight was striking 100 times a second in the clouds. It was the most amazing thing i have ever seen. I have have flown over 200 times on delta airlines and im glad they have a-t-r's they are SAFE!
