No, these are standard, and are part of the Standard & Surface Mount fixture groups. Also, these are for all installations, and conversely, the M.M.L series are the muntz (bronze) vandal resistant signal fixtures.
In the case of signal fixtures, they might want to go with a little more aesthetic taste, and as with high capacity, this is the freight elevator, which transports paintings, sculptures, and other large art pieces.
There is one thing I don't get. If OTIS, Schindler, KONE, ThyssenKrupp/Dover modernized an elevator, why they uses EPCO fixtures instead of their original ones?
Even though it is a nice elevator. I don't think it is a freight elevator.

Cool Elevator. I Like The Bell and how the Indicator Works.

other than the deeper car, I don't think I could identify this as a freight elevator without looking at the capacity rating.

Well, this is a freight elevator, because of the deep car and the capacity rating.

Yes, and it's rather interesting.

The Hall Lantern flashes at every beat when chiming.

I know, but both Kone and ThyssenKrupp use Epco fixtures, and similar cab designs.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
This is not the ThyssenKrupp elevator, but it is Kone.

I guess this has lots of insulation to quiet the sound, and because of its capacity, this elevator uses a dry power unit.

The propulsion drive is a bit quiet for an elevator with an American hydraulic propulsion design.

Really, that's very interesting.

I'm at the Studio Arts program there. That elevator
doesn't listen to what you tell it to do.

What the heck do they use a hydraulic freight elevator? They need one at least even 100FPM!

Not really. These fixtures are still made today.

For rehab, newly installed or both?

Those are the EPCO Toughline fixtures (Car stations, lanterns, floor indicators), and the Vandal Resistant Inchline surface mount hall stations.
CaptainElevator42189 4 years ago
These are probably customly made.

A.K.A. EPCO S.S.L. line fixture for the car station and hall lantern.
6Q73RA 4 years ago
Actually, it looks a lot better, since it uses actual walls and floors, rather than protective panels.
CaptainElevator42189 4 years ago
What kind of fixture are those?
6Q73RA 4 years ago
Looks rehabed.
6Q73RA 4 years ago
Yes, it does the same thing on the other 2 floors, and is actually caused by a wiring problem.

Look at that nice effect on the down arrow.
