This ad is actually true. 5 years later, PCs get Windows 7 and and ever since then the party hasn't stopped. I can buy some cheap-ass 4€ chinese ripoff device without drivers, and Windows 7 WILL come up with working drivers for it.

Vista was bad, but PCs are way more than vista. There's linux, XP and windows 7, and no one really complains about them (well, win 7 hits a bit hard in the RAM department, but nowadays ram is cheap)

Not too mention Macs are overpriced, so to have a macintosh equivalent to a windows-running gaming platform, you would have to pay at least 3 times more for the same performances. vista did have some problems with compatibility and had high requirements but Windows 7 is compatible with pretty much anything and has lower system requirements.

If you are using a Windows PC you usually need stronger hardware but it pays off, believe me, there's just so much more to do on a Windows PC.

Vista itself isn't horrible unless you have to upgrade to it. Then it is a pain. If you start with Vista, you have a little easier time adjusting to it. Also, Vista screws everything up because it is just too powerful that no one has the hardware to make it run at it's full potential.

As a personnal note, i prefer PC's just because they seem alot easier to use than Macs to me.
