If the U.S. was willing to invade just for oil why in the hell would they do on the other side of the world where it is never stable even in the best of times. If oil is the reason why not just take Canada. It would be much easier and would solve all their oil and water needs for the foreseeable future. Invading places like Afghanistan for oil doesn't make strategic sense. YOU ARE WRONG!
