actually Hungary and Romania are not THAT similar; Hungary was a huge Empire and European power for 1000 years; Romanians have had their asses kicked in every style and position by all the major regional powers, Russian Empire, USSR, Ottoman Empire, Austria..... Hungary etc; it was only in the 20th century that we started kicking some ass back; that really carries weight in modern politics;

Respect, for the video, you couldn't say it better.. it's all PERFECT until 6:30 when you presume the situation from Rep. Moldova would be similar with Second Vienna Dictate, here you're wrong, North Transylvania was Romanian majority, Hungarians weren't even above 40% in that territory that Horthy demanded, and also some Romanians faced crimes, deportation, coming from the new Hungarian administration, the newcoming Hungaran administration was felt by most of Transylvanians as an occupation.

Thank you for your friendship shown to the Romanians, but you don`t have to justify your feelings about the Hungarians from Romania. Our conflict is with some (very few) Hungarians from Romania who disrespect all the Romanian values and fail to understand that we gave all the rights we could give to them without discriminating to much the rest of the nations (yes they have more rigths than a common Romanian).

Nice try, but you failed. Although I agree with the first part, I do not agree with the your problem in Transylvania.

To begin, The Austro-Hungarian Empire was like USSR, you took a piece of my country and occupied it. That piece of country always had a Romanian majority. Now, historically, Transylvania was at the beginning about 70-93% Romanian. The Hungarians occupied it and brought Hungarians here. You came into my house and you live in it only because I allow you to do so.

It can be proved with archeologicly. 80% of the romanians or vlachs who live in Erdély -transi something - grand parents born in regat or oltenia....so transilvania is just over run by vlachs after we had war with the tatars and turks...when our population dramaticly decreased. I am still going back and fort to romania, , actully I do not hate romanians, ro vlachs or dacos or what other name chances (depend where the political wind blows from) :-). Of course our two peoples share a lot more then is sometimes admitted. Unfortunately like you correctly pointed out the West is too busy to think of our little problems. While our two nations waste their time barking at each other over past events - the West and Russia divide their spheres of influence.

I am deeply impressed by your knowledge of our history. But I too believe that our two peoples are destined to live divided. This is the faith of small nations.

I want to say that as a Romanian i understand your care for the Hungarians living in Romania and you would be a bastard not to do so. We have to look at things in a proper and honest fashion.

The Romanians think like this now:

We gave the Hungarians rights, then they asked for more, than we gave them more and now they want to break away, let's take all their rights back because instead of getting peace and reconciliation we are heading towards a civil war.

What? The Romanian army attacked a sovereign country after 1.WW. Occupied our country entirely to Danube. After the peace negotiations (where nobody represented Hungary!) had to withdraw until the today's border, but before it pillaged it 60.000 km2 too, that Hungary was left after it. It's the question, that the aggressor Bucharest how many rights deprives us, and not from that, how much give. It was not necessary to give new rights since all of our rights were before the Romanian aggression.

This video has touched me deeply and for that i thank u TuzesViz. God bless Romania and Hungary. There is a unique situation between romanians and hungarians, both consider the same territory (Transylvania) as the cradle of their civilization. So i belive the only way we can solve that is by unification: Romano-Hungaria. Now we are both in the EU, so we don't have to worry about that.

Mi, mint magyarok, az ős történetünk igen teljesen különös és incsen hasonlóság a románokéhez. De még is, mert szomszédok voltunk már ezer éve, nagyon hasonló dolgokon mentünk át. The situation Romania-Moldova is TOTALY different then the situation Hungary-Transilvania! Moldavia is a land stolen from Romania by soviets, Transilvania is a romanian land that in 1918 VOTED the unification with Romania! In R. Moldavia are 78% Romanians, In Transilvania are 23% Hungarians(most of them szeklers).The position of the majority of hungarian etnics is far from romanian-hungarian border.

R. Moldova is entirely lived by romanians but manipulated by Moscow and ruled by interests of some people that desire this state to be the most corrupted and poor. In fact Moldova's economy is managed by Voronin, his family and friends. Uniteing Moldova with Romania means uniteing Transnistria with Romania and EU. There are grate deposits of armament and armament factorys. A military country no one recognize ruled by Smirnof and Russia.

This is absolutely true what you say, but keep in mind; this vote was taken in 1918 (and I am aware that only Hungarians did not vote to unify with Romania, I know even the Germans voted to unify with Romania). Back then Transylvania was 30-35% Hungarian, and northern Transylvania had a slight Hungarian majority, and the border with Hungarian still has a distinct Hungarian majority.

However! before anyone is angered, I am not calling for territorial revisions by mentioning this. I stated these facts to show that in the first half of the 20th century, the demographics were very different from what they are today in Transylvania.

I appreciate your good intentions but you're terribly misguided! There is nothing intrinsically wrong with Slavic people or with any other nations. The communists are wrong! We should all unite and fight them but without nationalistic or ethnic slogans. Nationalistic and ethnic differences are so damaging, as the entire history of the XX-th century proves it. I am Romanian with a Hungarian fiancée. I love the European Union and all my neighbors and I hate communism. It is as simple as that.

This wasn't anti-Slavic at all; I have nothing against anyone, no matter their ethnicity. I am sorry if I came off like that, what I simply meant to point out is that we are unique in Eastern Europe, because we alone are not Slavs and we should keep that in mind.

I too hate nationalism, and that is partly why I made this video, to show that these hateful nationalist sentiments in both Hungary and Romania are foolish and not doing good for our countries.
