thanks for words ddchalmers. i've defined freedom for myself as an 'absence of... oppression, of conqueror indoctrination, acceptance of 'things are just meant to be this way', etc'' - thru unlearning my father and mothers ways, thru carefully listening, observation, and acknowledgment of other ways of life (the women and men who were and are still living sustainably here on earth) as valid and great value by enacting and embodying the words so wisdom can come alive to impart an example

Not sure about wearing no footwear. Either you are walking across gravel or you are in a developed area where it is unhygienic.

We don't need no stinking shoes! Oil clogged pores does suck though so parking lots are not great.. but your feet naturally out of shoes breath out toxins. In a shoe it can't so it learns to absorb to keep from getting too greasy in there....

And gravel is fine in the shoe your feet tense up to hold onto the shoe and not get blisters. But free they relax.
