  • "Big Business" I Like Country VS. Business!!! Double Twins...

  • Very cute. :) Great roles for both of them.

  • Nice comparison, hard to pick one over the other, both were so good.......

    THANKS for posting this.

  • to the one person who dislikes this video ......... THATS ALL

  • BETTE is the best ♥ but i love meryl too

  • Bette baby! :D

  • BETTE! No question about it. (though i love meryl too...)

  • BETTE of course!!! There is NO COMPARISON!!!

  • Bette all the way not only was she the original but she is always the greatest.

  • midler...she is one classy brassy lady!

  • This was the role Meryl should have won the Oscar for, I mean she was good in Julie & Julia but this she turned this into an iconic part.

  • You look like a blood clot! LOVE IT

  • Bette! Hands down.

  • Do I have to choose? I really can't, I love them both. And I liked both movies.

  • @SoldMySoulToYou YES ME TOO!!!!!

  • BETTE!!! ALL THE WAY :D

  • Huh????

  • Exactly. A sympathetic patriotic inside look of army life past/present. The fact that it plays backdrop matters not. Wake up!

Oh, by the way; what was the present day conflict at the time????

  • I've been waiting for somebody to catch the similarity between these two and do something cool like this.

  • I love The Devil Wears Prada. I LOVE Meryl. But Bette's entrance is unmatched. Miranda Priestly may act like the devil but SADIE SHELDON would have her for breakfast.

  • Never, Miranda was more ruthless in her posture, voice and how people acted in her presence!

  • i Liked them both!

  • of course BETTE

  • woohoo...THAT IS SO COOL!!!

  • Bette Midler has to win an Oscar someday!

  • Agree - but her best chance was beaches

  • Miss M wasn't even nominated for an Academy Award for "Beaches"! Can you believe it?! She got nominations for "The Rose" and "For The Boys".

  • Be fair, I sense that you think her role in the rose was not up to par but it was brilliant. I'd forgotten until you mentioned it. She should have won the oscar for that too. 'For the boys', I never saw but I get the feeling that it was one of those hollywood propaganda films thats brought out when ever america is in some kind of overseas conflict. What was the conflict in that year or around that time?

  • that's pretty funny
