  • Poor Boy. . . .get him a bitch in heat!!! He is humping his blanket. Sorry, but my bitch was spayed after her last litter :-(

  • My ACD does that with her bed! And candy pooz it's more than likely a stumpy tail ACD!

  • where's his tail?? poor thing!

  • my cattle dog goes to town on you legs on the most unsuspected times

  • Haha, my blue healer does this. It cracks me up everytime.

  • why chop his tail?

  • that's sooo funny, our cow dog Bishop does the EXACT same thing with his blankie!

  • that dog knows how to shake it lol!

  • that dog needs to be de-nutted!

  • lol @ all of these people taking this vid too seriously. I laughed until I cried.

  • that heelers blanket domination level is over 9000

  • eew! Why have you cut its tail off???

  • Hi @cdc1971

They breed 'em that way ...called stumpytails.

I like a waggy tail myself but I guess it's what you're used to.

  • My ACD does this with her blanket too! My dogs a little girl and she's spayed so it's not humping, its like their trying to throw it behind them or something.

  • your dog needs a bitch that is not dancing lol

  • they have beautiful tails, plus mine uses his for balance. stop docking tails!

  • @jayfosterz there are cattle dogs bred here in australia that are called smithfield stumpy tail cattle dogs which are born with stumpy tails.

  • @jayfosterz

I agree, its just cruel to think this type of agility dog dosnt need its tail.

  • That was a bizarre intro and you are guilty of overdoing the sound effects, but overall, I liked it :)

  • My buddy Jack does that with his big teddy bear (it usu. switches to humping) while my other buddy Cody throws himself @ fresh laundry

(Cody's tail is docked but I didn't do it; both mine are rescues). I do like a tail wagging.

  • This must be a masonic ritual of some kind. xD

  • You know maybe the idiot commentator shouldn't jump to conclusions about the owner without knowing the story behind the dog.

Maybe it was the breeder that had docked the tail and not the owner.

  • yeah i dont know why the tails get docked. theyre there for balance in the first place. a cattle dog needs it if it's gonna be working all the time. people probably dont want the thing knocking stuff off tables lol

  • I feel sorry for this poor dog as the idiot owner has cut it's tail off. There is no reason whatsoever to cut off an ACD's tail. We don't do it here in Australia and never have.

  • yeah mine has his....road warrior style FTW!!!

  • fucking stup[id im going to go blow my head off after i cut my wrist

  • That is the worst techno music I've ever heard. That's like 300 bpm.

  • thats not dancing... lol

  • poor bastard is bored as fuck

    walk him homer

  • i don't think he want to dance with the blanket, i think he is trying to f****k it, this is a funny video

  • Dancing??? More like ROmancing! lol:)

  • awersoome he is so cute !!!!

  • I love it! It never gets old! This was like my 10 time watching it and i'm laughing so hard I can barely type!!!!!!

  • My favorite comment! When I made this, I was laughing so hard, I could barely make it! Thank you for laughing. I think it's pretty funny too!

  • wanting new friends

why cant i see the video iJ

  • Somebody help me, help me! help me, help me!

  • I've heard the tails are cropped on ACD so that they don't get bit by whatever they're herding... might have had something to do with pigs. Mine's is cropped, but he's not a working dog, and i've regretted it ever since.

And yes, mine also does the "blanket dance." :)

  • it's the breeding, some have short tails and some have long, I got my ACD from a litter of 12, dad had long tail, mom had short, half the puppies had long tails, and half short, it's wierd

  • If it is a purebred, then all the babies should have long tails.

  • agreed... only reason theyd be shorter is if theyre docked... ruby1 probably thinks rottis are born with short tails too?

  • haha yea and great dane's ears stand up from birth

  • There is a breed of Australian Cattle Dog (the Australian Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog) which are born with an extremely short tail. But I think it is very wrong for people to dock an ACD tail. It only seems like the American's do it as we don't dock ACD tails here in Australia.

  • They must have been mixed breed cattle dogs then as full bred ACD's will always have full length tails. Only Australian Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dogs (totally different breed to AC's) are naturally born with very short tails.

  • Looks like you have a Husky and a ACD; I have a 3 yr old Husky and am looking at getting an ACD. They typically get along, right?

  • why do yanks cut their tails off?

  • Its not all of us. Just some ignorant ones.

  • Thank god.

I thought my dog was the only one that did this.

He doesn't maneuvre the blanket around, he just pins it and does the ass-thrusts.

  • hes not dancing with it.. hes trying to hump it

  • wut was the song u kno the land down under

  • land down under by men at work

  • can you tell me why lots of these dogs have had tails removed in usa? its a bit odd

  • Because some people are ignorant.

  • the dog isent dancing its humping its blanket.

  • That's one frustrated dog! Maybe they should try taking him for a walk! How do you get a high energy dog like a cattle dog and then keep him stuck inside?!

  • This was wonderful....I laughed until i cried...

  • Thanks for your positive comment! It made my day!

  • ROFL = awesome sound editting.

  • I love your dog !

  • Thanks so much! Me too!

  • our dog's fixed, he's getting his pent up hornies out, it's not like he's jizzin' on my pillows and blanket

  • This dog is not dancing you nut! He's trying to fuck it! I really hope you dont sleep with that blanket lol

  • I love this I crack up everytime I watch this-wicked funny music and words! We also have a blue heeler and he does the same thing with our bedspread and pillows. When our daughter was 2 yrs. old she said "Look! Shadow's doing the HOKEY POKEY!So that's what we've called it ever since!

  • dude!ur dog humps ur pillows?!?!?!:o

  • ya he's not dancing with it...

  • "Red Rocket" thats funny

  • you guys are fucking gross

  • what song at the beginning

  • I think it's Down Under by Men at Work!

  • Thanx

  • you guys are wierd the dog is trying to root it fucking sicko

  • I'm surprised he's not sporting a "red rocket" (the dog)

  • the laff sounds like elmer fudd

  • Lol, "dancing". This dog is humping the blanket for dominance.

  • yes that is what it is the people are just confused of what it is

  • There is, in fact, such a thing as Stumpy Tailed ACDs- they are actually a different breed. Although they look a lot like ACDs with tails, there are some slight physical differences.

Also the dog is NOT "humping" his blanket. My ACD does this kind of stuff all the time when he hasn't had enough exercise. I've see tons of other Heelers do it too. These dogs are SUPER high energy and if you don't help them burn it off, they definitely will find ways to do it on their own.

  • My ACD used to do this all the time. He was fixed and never humped anything, so I agree it is not humping.

  • this video is stupid and so are you. what kind of loser puts whacky music to video of their dog humping a blanket? I'm not prude, I'm all for offensive humor. Just letting you know you're idiots and not half as clever as you think you are.

  • no but youre immature..its not a joke,, its just dancing with its blaking, at no point does it hump the blanket

  • That was very uncalled for and is more than rude! If you think the dog and the video director is stupid and idiots, then you're saying it to yourself which makes you an idiot and stupid freak! You better apologize or you're going to face consquences!

  • ummmm what bitch...the consequences?

"If you think the dog and the video director is stupid and idiots, then you're saying it to yourself which makes you an idiot and stupid freak!? r u fucking retarded? this sentence sounds like an 8 year old wrote it

  • You are a fuck retard! Who are you calling me that you terd! Never you dare call me that for I shell call you that will make you be mad more than you could be mad twit! I hate your response!

  • holy shit...........you are retarded.

  • And so are you looser or as fucker! I hate you and I hate your stupid comment! what ru now! ha ha!

    stupid pancake! that u!

  • I too thought his/her tail was docked (and it well may be). But Wikipedia has info on the "Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog"

  • ya and wikipedia says right at the bottom of the page..."This article does not cite any references or sources. (September 2007)

Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unverifiable material may be challenged and removed......retard!!!

  • I like your response and it's a well educated response until you use the word "retard". I think in life we're all learning and we're all not 100% right all the time.

And maybe to help you I did go to a few breeders sights online that are located in Australia. I tried to put those links in You Tube - but they didn't allow it.

Please feel free to critique in good sporting manners without the name calling. It's just good manners and good taste.

  • youre absolutely right and i'm sorry, i just sooo many people site youtube for info when it says that at the bottom of every page..sorry

  • No problem.... I've been called worse (LOL)

  • You are very rude and crappy! Put it the oppsite, you are stupid and are idiot!

  • I liked your comment too Chakatania! Very good!

  • your acd is absolutely beautiful(handsome), I have a 5 year old and he has less of a tail than yours and alot darker but yours might still be younger.

  • THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS AN AUSTRALIAN "STUMPY"!!!!! Where do you people get this information from? Please.. let me know

  • Wow... people and their Dogs. Your dog is trying to hump it's blanket, not "dance".And the only reason dogs tails and ears are ever cropped,is because of breed standards. It is cruel and un humane and satisfies only the owners own vanity.

  • It isn't docked - it's an Australian Stumpy, a very close relative to the Cattle Dog that naturally has a stumpy tail, just like Manx cats.

  • all dogs have tails

  • australian stumpies, australian shepherds, and schipperkes are just some examples of tailess breeds

  • Their Not tail less breeds, their tails get docked

  • is the voices in the backround suposed to be the dog talking? that was a good video though!

  • I don't think its the dog talking. But I'm not sure, I could be wrong.

  • Where's this pervert dog from? :D Seriously though he looks and behaves like my female Bell and I don't know if she was humping or not but she was a stout as this dog and the same coloring too and would drag and pile all of the laundry from the basket and go to town.Where did this dog come from?

  • why did you dock your heelers tail???

  • yeah, they need that for balence

  • No. Heelers use their tails as rudders. In fact what you have done is remove the balance. The only reason you ever dock a tail is when you have a working dog who is moving cattle/horses to protect them from being stepped on.

  • It isn't docked - it's an Australian Stumpy, a very close relative to the Cattle Dog that naturally has a stumpy tail, just like Manx cats.

  • das right...Thanks Jon!!!

  • Is he trying to hump the cover? I see he cleaned himself afterward!

  • Nice sound track (Blazing Saddles), I have a red acd and he dos the same thing.

  • My dog, who isn't an ACD but a Greyhound X GSD, does often does this with his own bed & it's simply his way of making it more comfortable for himself plus our friend's ACD bitch did the same with our dog's bed! :)

  • Interesting! I guess our doggies have their doggie reasons for all the cool stuff they do!

  • I think the dog is trying to gather the blanket into a heap so he can hump it. He wasn't "dancing" at all

  • Okay, re docking: ACD's that are bred for show are never docked. However, many breeders will dock their working dogs, as if the tail is stepped on and broken, the dog can be crippled, as the tail is a spinal extension. It is done as a preventative. We have two; one docked and one natural. They are both fast as lightning and can turn on a dime. Have you ever seen one stare down a bull? Astounding!

  • Hi!

That makes good sense. I know our ACD is fast, too! Although he has never actually been in a situation where he has been exposed to herds, I can only imagine what he would do. He herds people (me). I have never seen an ACD stare down a bull that would be cool! Thanks!

  • If there's a way I can send you a pic, I think I have one of Roscoe doing just that to a large Brahman steer. The bull's afraid to come by these days :)

  • "making his bed"?! Um, I don't think so.... our male ACD does the same thing... the local expression here is "humping".

  • I do believe you are right!

  • I've had male & female acd's "make their beds", and I have to agree - making the bed is not the object. This video is hilarious - it looks just like our Rudy!

  • Thanks! If Rudy looks like my dog, he must be very cute!

  • he is herding the blanket

  • Maybe you are right!

  • Dogs are weird!

  • They sure are! Thanks for the comment!

  • what happened to the dogs tail? They're not supposed to be chopped off like that.

  • His tail was like that when we got him.

  • could you please tell me name of that song when sheeps are on the screen?thanks a lot

  • I had to post again, what is the story with the dog looking thru the window at the one making his bed with his blankie? Are they "brothers"? Cute!!!

  • Hi Bucks! There is a story behind the other dog looking through the window. She is his older step sister and the window is a sliding glass door between the dining room and the back porch. She gets mad at him when he tries to play and tries to stop him. The day I shot this video, I had to close the door with her inside so he could have a go at his blankie without her interferring! Thanks so much for commenting agian I appreciate it!

  • He is so sweet? Was he trying to make his bed just right?

  • Yes! He was...but for some reason, he just couldn't straighten it and it just continued to try!!!

  • Cool, check out my video about my dog protecting his bone from me on my page ,rate and comment please :D

    -Thanks

  • We all know what the dog was REALLY trying to do. lol

  • Seems to me that the dog is just playing and humping with his blanket instead of dancing with it. The music is funny, funny enough that makes me laugh! Great show!

  • Absolutely 100% A+ great videos on earth!

  • Some people just don't have any life.. C'mon, was it really necessary to video tape your dog humping a blanket..?

  • nat15...you are so right! I needed to get a life because I videotaped my dog humping his blanket! So I went out to the life market and got me a life and now I am so fulfilled and much happier.

  • Hey, were can you find this blanket? My dog would love it too! Does it have any descriptions or name on it? Do your dog still plays with it? I vote this video the best! Because, the music is just match what the dog is doing. How fun.

  • "Dancing"? You mean like the type our mommies and daddies do to bring us into this world?

  • your video stinks

  • I think he would do better with a stuffed animal!! we all know he wasn't trying to dance!!

  • There is a Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog breed ........ born with no tail ! and I have seen cattle dogs maneuver around cattle just fine .... tail or no tail ...And not lose their balance and fall over ....lol (sorry nedwreck the ignorant) Great video .....great dogs

  • Crazy great editing, love the talking dogs! Funny funny funny!

  • Why is his tail docked? Australian Cattle Dogs aren't supposed to have docked tails, only Australian Shepherds are supposed to have docked tails..Unless of course his tail got slammed in a door or something.

  • His tail is docked because the people who had him before we got him, did it. I'm not sure why they did that.We agree that it is foolish.

  • I have a video on my account of my dog actually humpoing the blanket LMAO

  • am i the only one that sees what the dog is REALLY trying to do to the blanket?

    lets just say someones horny o_o;

  • No, MomoMizu, I don't think you are the only one who sees what the dog is trying to do to the blanket!

  • haha, he farted....

  • GO DOGGY GO stick yer lil christmas tree bulb in it! .. i dont think the other dog was much impressed.

    the farting made me laugh

  • He's not dancing with that blanket, he's trying to pump it a good'un.

Also, docking the tails of Cattle Dogs is ignorant. Their tails act as a counter balance and helps them maneuver when herding cattle.

  • He was already docked when we got him. We'd never do that to a dog.

  • hes not danceing u idiot! hes humping it! your dog is as stupid as u are! (no ofence)

  • think thats kinda obvious you idiot "having a moment"

  • Looks to me like he's jones'in for a little... doggie-lovin'.

  • He's just practicing for when he gets let out and meets up with all the female doggies!!

  • great!

  • Are you sure his dancing with that blanket? Because we have a stumpy tail bluey that does exactly the same thing

  • Maybe he's doing something else...

  • If he his you should be looking at getting him spayed

  • Funny! The music is perfect!

  • aww his playing with his blanky.. the music isnt that good
