example, i'm pale skinned with dark eyes, hair/eyebrows, also have freckles...difficult combo for makeup looks. so, i bought this beautiful tropical blue shade which looked great on my hand in the shop and cost a fortune! eeek, it made me look awful. i did a brown based eye and loads of mascara, and added a little of the colour on the inner corner of the eye. tada! it doesn't make me look like a showgirl. try a brown with your favourite 'pop' colour and see how it goes. great vids! :-)
Right on! That's exactly what I do with blue eyeshadow. I feel it suits me best when I use it as an accent color with a neutral brown or taupe-y color.
