Riggz i think that ull be ok, even though ur car is a bit older it should handle it, i have a 08 grand cherokee with 2 kicker comp 12s and 1000 watt amp and it handles fine the alternator and such, just be sure its not like a true 1000 watt aml cause it could get sketchy as in look at the rms

@7Simstim no they aren't competition subs but thats the name kicker gave em lol kicker comps they are more like entry level subs on kickers end. the cone and surround feel kinda flimsy/weak at least they did on the one i saw at best buy which was this sub but 10 inch. still a decent sub for someone looking for that extra bass.

nah my amp isnt turned up very much. the gain is like 1/15th up barely moved it up. the bass boost is on 12db though it sounds great and all. thehy havent burned out or anything, but i havent had them play full blast for over a half an hour cause i havent had the need to drive for over a half hour yet, but when that happens we will see.
