romanian floors are so predictable, boring and not so difficult. i mean, when was the last time a romanian did a G move on floor at the olympics? very long time ago.

silivas did not invent the double-double! she was the first to do it at Olympics level, that's why it is sometimes referred as the silivas, but aleftina pryakhina (1986?) and boginskaya (1987)had done it at international meets before silivas did it at seoul'88

Silivas was the first to do a double double at an elite level competition therefore having it named after her. I am not sure about the people who did it before her but she was the first to do it successfully at an elite level.

No, she was the first to complete it successfully at a World Championships or Olympic Games. Search "Aleftina Priakhina 1986" and/or "Svetlana Boginskaya double double" if you don't believe me.

the romanians did not make major mistakes because they played it safe, they had easier routines than china, russia or usa, that's why. if you're so smart , then you'll know why. the easier the routine is, the less mistakes a gymnast does. it's fact.

n oh btw, it WAS LUCK that romania won the tm final at sydney. even with major mistakes, the russians were only 0.200 behind your team.

no fuckin' way! simona did 1 tiny error and she scored 9.712, if not for that error she would have scored 9.812, n still behind zamo. as for raducan, oh come on! her fx was just like sveta except she added that laid out double, that's it. and during team final, zamo had 9.775 fx with few errors and raducan scored 9.762. in ef, rad had 1 fall only and scored 9.275, if she had not fallen she still would be behind zamo and simona!!

you know romanians are very lucky in olympics. aint you know that if svetlana and zamo did not make mistakes in all around finals and in team finals in sydney romanian girls could have gone home without a single gold medal? also in athens, maybe just in beam, pavlova could have had a chance. in beijing, i'm about the team bronze medal, which russia could win if they had lozhecko or even just they replaced semenova to pavlova in performing the FX

I know romanians have been winning many many golds on floor and beam, and i'm not criticizing them, because I know they're very good (I'm also a fan of some romanians), but I think this serie is unbeatable in terms of originality, and I think russians series are better coreographed than romanians ones, but in terms of power both them are good! =)

Guy it's my opinion! I loved the tumbling and her coreography wasn't very amazaing and classic, but it was veeeery original; so, just tell you're opinion without desageeing with the others, cause I don't agree with you to. Romanians coreography is boring, and the russians are claimed to be the bests this aspect.
