Fonda's first appearance in this brilliant production has to be one of the most sinister, equalling Lee Van Cleef's arrival in The Good, The Bad And The Ugly!!  After having played a goodie in all his previous movies, this departure was a shock to many!! Yet, his Frank role worked a treat!! Sergio and Ennio saw to that!! What a pair of geniuses!! The Fonda and Bronson final confrontation has to be the most powerful, with that amazing music and those huge close ups!! Priceless!!

The casting of this movie was very well done the actors and actress that played in this movie worked very well together. The music I thought, brought everything together and was so beautifully done especially that womens voice... Arena Verona. Well done!

A very haunting song - does anyone know who plays the harmonica - it puts out quite a sound which adds drama to the movie. The drama and amazing score draws you to this movie and I appreciate it more now than when it was released in 1969. The casting was magnificient.
