I just wanna mention that according to iko rules, the one behind you must give you that u are forward priority. But this thing is just nonsense in this case cause they both were doing crazy stuff and they knew some shit can happen anyway.Good thing is that noone hurt! enjoy ! nice video!

It is pretty hard to tell what was happening as we can't see the kite but it appears as if the kitesurfer punches through the wave on port and gets more air than he planned on. Then along comes the windsurfer also on port but overtaking from astern so the windsurfer must keep give the kitesurfer ample time to keep clear as they established the overlap from astern not to mention that doing a loop is essentially a tack or jibe in the air so they are doing that to close to the other vessel. IMHO

There are regulations about wavesailing which are different than normal sailing and they say that the one who is going out the break has the priority!

Other (general) regulation says that kitesurfers are obliged to give the way to windsurfers and surfers. Windsurfers are obliged to give the way to surfers but have priotiy to kitesurfers.

Get to know before you write the bull shit...

+ there is a rule that says that the incoming kiter / surfer has the most rights but that only counts on Land - Water transition because the wind on the land is more turbulent than the wind on the water ...

And this isn't the same for waves !

when a kiter or a surfer is on a wave he has the most rights !

while being on one wave at the same time there is a priority. It is dependant on the spot (on some spots rules are different- local rules) but it is on purpose yo dumb. if you don't understand the reason for making these rules you're dumber than it's even possible and you are dangerous for other spot users...
