The first Stanza was borrowed, the rest written especially for the ad.

Worse? don't make me laugh. I remember in '97 it was not uncommon for trains to be 40 minites late, or not come at all. At least now they are reliable.

This is actually part of an modern version of the famous 1930s poetic film Night Mail. ISTR this one was written and filmed some time around 1997 (notice the mention of computers!) Can't find the exact details again at the moment though :(
