@lijourt Finishing Strokes in a massage are meant to energize, stimulate, and awaken the client or your partner. It isn't more about stimulation to let the body know to repair itself then it is about actually rubbing a knot out of someone's back. I hope that makes sense for you!

@lijourt Oh, you mean the pressure on the sacrum. That is just a warmth and comfort thing. It's a major nerve center but you can't really apply pressure and actual massage to it because of the spinal column. It's more a relaxation with soft pressure and warm hands ending technique.

Using thumbs as a different size tool then your hands or knuckles is similar to holding a tension spot in the low back or sacrum instead of rubbing the love handles with the palms.
