  • They shud reall make 32 giant neon yellow signs easiet to see

  • @RACHEL02189 Ikr the signs r in bright yellow saying ELECTRIC FENCE lol with a spark on it stupid ass foreign (not u)

  • At 0:40 it looks like his hand is getting sucked into another dimension.

  • who needs "Jackass" to watch when you have this type of reality

  • WIRE we watching this? Because the clip was BUZZworthy ;)

  • Looks like the chain-link isn't electrified, just the wires ....I think his right hand brushing the lower wire was a simple honest mistake ...one he wont repeat.

  • Hadouken!

  • Wait, did I see a white electric arc jump out of the fence when he touched it?

  • With one hand he touches the live wire. With the other he touches the grounded fence. REAL SMART MORON!

  • yuck WTF HAPPENS TO HIS HAND?! 0:40

  • @ECHOGOLF11 hmmm i think he got electricuted...?

  • @ECHOGOLF11 What does it look like to you? The teenage mutant ninja turtles came jolting in

to order a pepperoni pizza straight from ye olde 'ande shoppe in reporter alley ofcourse.. -.-

  • My cousin was fixing the sign on his horses fence and his hand brushed the fence.Nothing happened so my brother touched it,and nothing happened again. My cousin touched it again and he was knocked on his ass from the shock.

  • He get electrocuted by touching an electric fence. Shocking. -_-

  • WoW!!! Pause at 0:40 u have to be quick play/pause u can see a mini hadouken!!!

  • Yes the fence was expensive. You could say it was... shockingly... expensive. Thumbs up for family guy!

  • DUMB ASS

  • The higher the voltage, fewer electrons (current flows through the conductors) and the opposite. Older TV and computer monitors with a CRT, have a high voltage conductor (called an anode) Anywhere from 15kV to 26KV DC which is quite dangerous with a good size arc. Current as low as 1/10 of a amp could be lethal.

  • @TheTheo58 higher voltage does not nesseserely meen few amps. and 0.030 amps and 230V can kill in 0,5sec.

  • Looks like he was in for a shocking surprise

  • @MrTommyfifaking154 what a shocking experience

  • @MrTommyfifaking154 YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

  • @MrTommyfifaking154 YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • it may be 6000V but i bet its low Current.... just like the police tazers with 50,000V but low current... its the Amps that kills not the voltage :)

  • @ChrisSelin Actually I think it's both.

  • @DrsJacksonn nah voltage dont do much... I hold tester leads which punch out 1000V and its not bad at all just makes your reflex let go lol. but if you go to a 230V house socket it will throw you across the room hence the Amps.

  • The strings are recieving the current in intervals. 1 shock pr 2-3 second i think.

And it is enough to touch only one string. You`ll still be shocked. ;)

  • Faker than (insert bad actor here)'s acting!

  • he got a electric superpower after that incident!

  • We had a hot fence for my horse... and I was cleaning hard when I tripped, went into a mud puddle, and put my hand on the fence to steady my self........that will definitely wake you up in the morning...

I have no desire to do electrical work now.....

  • it doesnt ring lol.

  • I touched an electric fence once (there were NO signs anywhere saying it was an electric fence). Man! That stung like the dickens!!! Felt like thousands of needles going into my hand at once!!!

  • Aussie Aussie Aussie! Ouch Ouch Ouch!

  • what the repoter name Andy GAy lol

  • 6000 V can be nothing without current.

  • It doesn't kick his ass right away, But it did!

  • He had touched the power of jesus

  • I see that people care more about goat licking electric fence than this reporter :/

  • he acted like he saw his small dick hahaha

  • ah shit u can se the eletric flow thing on hes hand when he touch the fence xD

  • fake and gay

  • Failblog away!

  • good job homes!

  • He must have really wanted that 300zx anniversery edition wheel.

  • that is a particularly powerful electric fence - should only use this type in cattle enclosures really - still, the worst the shock can do is give you minor electrical burn - theres virtually no current running through these things!

  • what a rookie.. stupid try..

  • you can even see the electric arc, XD.

  • OE WORD: RETARDED! did anyone see a lightening reporter´s hand?? he´s such a fag.

  • this guy toches a 6000 volt fence and if you watch his hand he hits himself too what a dumb ass

  • Dumbass

  • the news is truely "shocking" today >.>

    epic fail :D

  • Is not a comfortable experience? Why is that so? hm...

  • What a twat.

  • but can't you just cut the wires with tools that have a rubber grip?

  • @julianbell90 Depends on the strength of the insulation. 6kv can arc through quite a bit of rubber, especially if any pinholes are present.

  • What a retard...

  • That was stupid. Why touch the fence you KNOW is electric. He did it on purpose, that is so funny. He definitely deserved that shock.

  • While its amusing to see reporter get shocked. I fail to see how this would help protect you from thieves. Wire cutters have rubber on the handles after all. :/

  • LOL

  • i like how the wire on top doesnt shock him but the second one does...so all u thiefs out there the first wire is safe to touch ; )

  • well .... yes, it takes touching TWO points to close an electic circuit. That is why birds are unharmed when they rest on a single electic line.

  • yaeh isn't it something to do with the circuit has to be completed by going through (by touching the fence) and then going through u and into the ground and back around?

  • hahahahaha

  • @69sins That's how they work. :P They make a circuit when you touch them both, duh.

  • Listen to him, he's not American.

  • That's because it's fire.Lightning causes fire too.And in slow~mo you can see the electricity flow on his face. That's not sparks, idiot.

  • he doesn't even deserve to be called stupid

  • NoOb

  • as dumb as can be lulz

  • wtf? o.O

  • pause at 0:41 you see electricity

  • they put fake sparks in. idiots.

  • WAW

  • Epic :DD

  • Give me some rubber gloves and I'll rob that bitch.

  • Man, I wish I had the audio so I could hear the stupid reaction to his stupid action! Way to go dip sh**!

  • rofl ur like 13, can u even get an erection?

  • @GGRSC If he cant, that voltage should kick start his testies xD

  • @GGRSC im 12 and i dont get one when i look at ur mom

  • @teeheeman1000 expected

  • stupid dumbass

  • We need more news reporters like him.

  • yes...lol we do...the news wouldn't be so boring

  • fag

  • what an idiot and yes volts are the power of the electricity, even i know that and i'm only in grade 7

  • i like to think of electricty like hydraulics. In many ways it works on the same principles. Voltage is like pressure, current is like flow. If you had super-high current but running at extremely low voltage, you'd have little resistance in the circuit. Any slight resistance will stop the flow or current altogether. Or in terms of hydraulics, high pressure will cut you in half,(high voltage will burn you) high flow will drown you, (high current will stop your heart) power = volt X current

  • Actually.. with a high current, the resistance is at its maximum because it creates a lot of heat

That's why electricity companies upgrade the voltage for transport, and downgrade it to your house

  • ohms law buddy, resistance = voltage/current so lets say we have 100 amps running at 1 volt. resistance is 1/100 ohms, very low.

the reason electric companies up the voltage is because it is more effecient to transmit power over long distances at higher voltages. resistance also goes up, but its neglible compared to the power loss at lower voltages. they also use larger wire to transmit the power as this also reduces resistance.

  • NERD BATTLE!

  • The resistance of a conductor just changes like that, does it?

  • the resistance of a conductor is set, but is dependent on the material and diameter of the wire. if you increase the thickness of a wire, the resistance goes down because its like making a bigger road for the electrons to flow on. stranded wire does the same thing, more surface area for electrons to travel on, so instead of a single lane road, you have a multilane highway, making it easier for the same number of cars(electrons) to travel from A to B.

  • Another way to reduce resistance but with out changing the conductor in any way is with alternating current. AC can overcome this resistance per foot with some special properties... As frequency goes up, apparent resistance to the flow goes down... so at 400Hz, you can use a smaller wire than at 60Hz for the same current.

  • appreciate the explanation. are you an engineer? I've had a mechatronics engineer attempt to explain the concept of voltage and amperage with little avail, this helps a bit.

  • wow if you go over that shock again it looks computer animated..haha if it's real that's pretty cool

  • didn't seem that bad.

  • "jumpstart his career"

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • haaa jumpsart... heh lol yah non funny.

  • I thought the volts were the amount of power the current had?

  • no volts are just the speed of the current

  • JACKASS! high voltage on the arms aaaaaaaaaahhhhhahahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • lol he smacked himself in the face

  • volts is the amount of amps that can flow through at once. amps is wat does the killing. High amps and volts = dead

  • they are two entirely different things...

amps = amount of particles flowing through

volts = the energy they carry

and the two multiplied are the amount of power you get

  • the volts are not deadly but the amperes if there are more then 0.5 a then you can die

  • I was under the impression its not volts that kill, but amps

  • Thats right, but 99% dont know that. Even if you had 1000000000000 volts running through you nothing would happen if the current would be low.

  • electric fence on the border with mexico ?

    Yes [ ]

    No [ ]

  • i think there should be paint gun turrents at the mexican border.

  • I think the coneheads solution would suffice.

  • after effects -.-

  • 6000 volts would not kill u retard.

  • Totaly fake. Electric fence's runs on usualy 1 hz pulsed EHT (10 - 30 kv) at very little current.

The shock of the voltage is a sufficient deterent. If this was driven at a level of current as the video depicts then it would prove fatal. The most you would hear would be a sharp crack as the EHT leapt to meet your hand followed by swearing.

  • most likely sence this fence is to keep people out, it probly has a heavy current switch that shuts off the fence when something touches it causing a load on the circuit, then after a certain time it will reset. it would be enough to make some 1 say ouch but not be fatal, then that person would leave well enough alone or at least thats the ideal.

  • FAKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Your mama is fake

  • That will teach mr smarty pants nothin!

  • how many AMPS is that!!

  • the sparks are fake, the sound is fake, the only non-fake is that he is getting punched away from the fence..

    dumbassXD

  • Correct. First of all the voltage is normally only applied to the fence in short jolts, not continuous AC, that rules out the sound. The current is also very low, which rules out the sparks. The biggest arc you'll get from an electric fence is a tiny arc maybe 1/4" long max.

  • That depends on the voltage applied to the fence.

In general, the rule states that for every kV (kilo-Volt, 1.000 Volt) an arc can jump upto 1 cm (= app 0,5").

Ever wondered why lighting can arc from the skies to the very ground you're standing on?

That's because they can carry a voltage of about 100.000.000.000 Volt.

    You do the math.;)

  • Yeah, but regardless, the video shows actual sparks and even with a seriously high voltage fence, the current would not be high enough for it to be this visible on camera, otherwise you'd have a very illegal and not to mention lethal fence.

  • But he was holding a conductive wire in his other hand. the electricity was using his body as a way of transfer.

  • True!!^^

    Conclusion: this video is fake!!

(But it's still cool watching the dumb-ass reporter touching the fence, thinking he's some superhero-thing and then gets blown away!!XD)

  • It would have been a lot cooler without the incredibly fake looking sparks.

  • This really looks fake

  • who will be dumb enough to ignore this warnings? oh oh ! i know! a reporter! lol

  • if you jump when you touch it you wont get shocked

  • > if you jump when you touch it you wont get shocked

Unless the parallel strands of the fence have different voltage potentials, and I'm afraid that's probably the case.

  • Fucking dumbass reporter. Typical of the blend that is becoming a reporter.

  • only in the states... rofl

  • Well...no I'm not gonna say anything..

  • Legend, only an australain could be so stupid and brave. Do it again!!!!

  • wow, those sparks looked fake for some reason...

  • Awesome. That's a good day's work right there. He'll be anchor soon!

  • how dump can he get

  • punanoj

i really hope that was a joke

  • omg look at his hand you can see it O.O

  • holly fuck 6000 lol rofl xD STUPID haha

  • What a legend, champ mate. Of course he is Australian.

  • wtf why would it be on at day time if it was night time then year i understand wtf

  • hes the new silver sufer

  • owned XD

  • He hits himself in the face right after being shocked.

  • lol pause at 0:41.

  • lmao yyaa

  • lol

  • omg...what a noob...

  • haha

  • lol wow

  • I can see drunk Americans doing this on double dares. He did it for a job. At least he was paid for it. Still makes him an idiot!

  • wow

  • that was so cool

  • I can't believe the things people are saying on this post. When is the hate going to end? People are people no matter where they are from. I think it's terrible that you people are acting this way. You can't categorize millions of people and say they are all the same.

  • lmao...

  • fucking idiot

  • why the hell would he do that anyway. i mean i keep thinking damn this guy is so dumb he makes beevis and butthead look like nobel prize winners. im trying to think of what good reason he had for blantently putting both hands on that fence. i mean look he did it so casually and wasnt talking about it or anything. hes like talking about the fence and randomly touches it while he keeps talking and SHIT he gets a sho--ohhhh hes just so god damn dumb

  • I have to laugh at the Americans that think they have it all in this world, So far from my 5 years in Ohio the only 2 redeeming qualitys of life we dont have in Canada are Cheep Boose And Smokes, Outside of that even our strippers are better, They park it so close to your nose you can count the venerial warts. Down here they have g strings, and the 6ft rule,

  • Ohio sweet im a fellow buckey dawg.

    O-H

  • hahahaha ASSMERICANS!!!

  • There is nothing fake about this. This is a Gallagher Power Fence Security system. I have installed similar systems for animals and have seen these chargers send an electrical ark over 3 inchs away. In this case he grabs the positive wire and as he is reaching for the chainlink fence which is grounded the plus charge jumps out at him to close the circuit. Hurts like hell but will not kill you and if you cut the wire it will trigger the security system. But ya he is still an idiot LMFAO

  • and if you stop on 1:40-1:41 you can see the electricity :P

  • i meant :40-:41

  • wtf?

  • you really are american aren't you

  • Your point? That you are a stuck up asshole ignorant enough to make blind stereotypes? Yay, blacks are criminals, Asians have small dicks, Western Euros have their heads up their asses and all Africans have AIDS!

Shut the fuck up n00b! Don't make me sew your fingers together.

  • i am so glad not to be american

  • Yea it's really difficult living in the most prosperous and powerful country on the planet... :D

  • yes, with all the gangs, racism and crime syndacites it is....
