I have so many feels for this anime. It broke my heart several times over and made me sort of a masochist in the sense that I went and rewatched it anyway. It's just that good. I'll probably feel like I've been wrung out by the time I finish it again, I'll just keep crying and crying :(

:'( There is no season2 and there will never be one... The manga ended early(Badly beacuse it was a early ending) because I heard that one the carecters was based of a real person and they threatened to sue :'(

@wolfur1 Seriously?! I know that the real lie figure Honinbo Shusaku (who was the first go player sai possessed), the real life go player who played in the edo age, used in the anime. And the voice actor for Shindo Hikaru passed away. :( I wish they made a new series for the anime, or a season 4, because they ended season 3 with an open-ending. :(

This is the ending song to the New Years Special - The Road To The Hokuto Cup. It isn't actually in any episode just this ending (which btw was the end of the show completely...). One of the greatest manga and anime ever. Oh and everyone should play Go!
