Propaganda and bullshit . The grand solar minimum will bring cold and snow in winter as the Planet COOLS abruptly. Solar power is not efficient with a foot of snow on the panel and wind turbines do not produce energy on still freezing periods in winter. C02 is a trace gas( vital to life on the planet) which plays only a minor role if any on the temperature of the Earth's climate.
The economic costs are nearly irrelevant weaning off fossil fuels is something that must be done. What is not discussed and is all but impossible to quantify, is the additional health care costs associated with using oil--i.e. cancer.
The challenge has been well defined & Gore has put forward a vision & practical plan over 10 years. Clean Energy is the future - business & industrial leaders should get onboard!
I can certainly agree with what Mr. Gore would like to see in the future. Yes, man creates a carbon footprint with internal combustion and coal burning plants, (fossil fuels). However, to put ALL blame on man isn't scientific in the least.
There are so many phenomenon that is known to science and yet, so many that is not known. Sun spots (solar activity) and volcanic are activity are just two that have a huge impact on our carbon output.
The cycle of nature is another possible factor that isn't really well understood since we've only recorded data of some sort for just a few thousand years.
I'm all for common sense and conservation. Hell, we've been using internal combustion of fossil fuels for well over 100 years. Yes, it is time to move on to something else.
The need for energy will always be on the rise. The question is how can we safely satisfy that ever growing hunger?

If Al Gore was the president of the USA, I guarantee the US's image abroad would be ten times better than its current evil imperialist image now.
Just a suggestion from an ordinary East Asian guy.

How is Tom able to suck Al's vagina and still not garble (at least not garble that much) his speech?

Mr. Gore may or may not have the answer to that question.
