  • :) I love this song. it's so beautiful. We sung the ' Ceremony of Carols ' last year in our choir.

  • beautiful

  • I am so glad you enjoyed this, it's a video from last season but we enjoy this collection immensely and in the large churches of Florence the acustics are particularly suggestive. thanks for your comment. Joan Y

  • they sound amazing

were doing this at my school next year, i'm really excited now!

  • What I meant to say was,

I sang this at my choir concert back in December.

Thanks for posting this video of you guys. I loved singing it. :)

    Good job! :)

Sorry if there was a misunderstanding of what i said in the last comment.

  • no misunderstanding, it's a beautiful piece, where di you perform it? We didn't have a proper photographer with us for the concert, just my still camera so the video is a little static. It's a souvenir, we adore the music as do so many singers

ciao ciao from Florence, Joan and girls

  • It was at Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas. I think we only did 5 pieces from A Ceremony of Carols. If you go search under "Poteet Choir", you will find a video named "This Little Babe". I'm not in the video because it's Chorale Women. Select Treble (the choir that i'm in) and Chorale W. did the Procession and the Recession together. Select did "Wolcum Yole". Chorale W. did "This Little Babe". We also had a harpist, who is in the school's orchestra played the Interlude.

  • the harpist all the 5 pieces

  • I sang this at my choir concert back in December.

    Thanks for posting it. :)

    Good job! :)

  • Lovely Joan AND THE GIRLS!!! Ah, I like the second "song".

I'm amazed they let you wear pants in this Church.

  • In subzero weather, you better know it that we wore pants. We often wear pants, can't wear short pants maybe . . Actually the girls have long dragging skirts, if they stand still and sing the skirts are fine, otherwise they need comfy shoes and pants to walk. This wasn't a church service in an Anglican church, maybe there they'd wear robes. That would have been the most opportune I guess.
