There is a verse in the Bible that clearly states love your brother, judge not unless you want to be judged. They choose certain scripture and use God as their excuse but the truth is thats a 2 way street what does it say about their everyday sins or lifestyle lets start asking our Creator for his help to fight them back!!
"Mormon's take up about 2% of California's population but account for more than 75% of the political contribution." - This reason, amongst many, is why I think the LDS church needs to be removed from its ability to speak about ANYTHING other than themselves. If they want to make these immense contributions then they should be taxed like any other political organization and be up front about it.
I now ban mormons from my property and business...I will not employ them or have them served...the same for all religious groups that decry and oppose gay rights.....so sue me you bigots !!!
@macbrack04 I don't know if you're being satirical or not but that kind of discrimination against mormons is equally as bad as to gay people. Sure, some major mormon organization basically kicked the LGBT on the face but not all mormons are hateful. This is a crime of an organization, not all mormons have to be responsible for those deeds. Some mormons are nice!
@inimalian Religion is a matter of choice.....usually imposed by parents.......sexuality is not a matter of choice....only how you deal with it is 'choice'.....religion almost ALWAYS have enshrined in their belief system and 'book' the demand that it WILL discriminate against minorities usually with fatal consequences.......Know the difference......if you disagree with your religions attitudes and dogma...LEAVE IT !!!!

I'm not gay, I've been in a relationship with my gf for the last 22 months, and I am a devout christian, but I am not a member of the LDS church and I am a gay rights supporter. I have LDS members in my family who are as homophobic as fuck, their son, Bradley shows signs that he might be gay and they are telling him that it's illegal to be gay and he'll be arrested if he is. They make me sick and I can't stand to be in the same room as them
If they want to act like a political organization, they should be taxed like one.
By the way, when are these religious groups going to advocate criminal charges for Adultery? Jesus repeatedly spoke against adultery, but never once mentioned homosexuals.
Why is it that you ignore every one of the dozens of Ancient Jewish Tribal Laws in the OT admonishing straight people for various common acts -- including killing straight adulterers (Leviticus) – but you hold tight to a few selectively chosen passages that you interpret to reflect hate for gays?
There was no term or social concept for homosexuals back then. Same sex marriages are recognized in Israel. Jews don't hate on the gays. Jesus was a Jew.
I grew up mormom, pretty much my whole family on both sides are still members, and I still know many families in my community who are members. It's sad because they are all good people, imo, but I have seen how important marriage is to the church and how they 'encouraged' their members to donate and go door to door to get their message across.
I'm gay and know that my parents did these things. I'm still very angry even now, which is why I'm going to have a hard time watching this documentary.
I can't understand how people can blatanly contridict themselves this way - hating us so much they would go to any lenghts yet calling themselves followers of God.
