I have sinusitis, which led to ear problems. Very disabling symptoms. I can barely stand up sometimes without almost blacking out. Get a CT scan done to check for a sinus infection. See an ear nose and throat doc. SInus infections often cause disabling lightheadedness/dizziness. Flush your sinuses with a saline solution. It can be hell and very hard to get rid of. Avoid allergies.
Could this be what's commonly called labrynthitis a Viral infection of the inner Ear? some very weird feelings indeed , fuzziness drunk feeling in the head Vertigo if bending down or moving head any way quickly, even if walking fast just a thought, Docs put me on serc 16mg it's put me out of work so hope it goes quickly!
Is this related to labrynthitis? Ijust been diagnosed with this today myself. Muzzy feeling in my head, feel (kid of) drunk light headed all the time , really bad swaying dizzy feeling if I move my head quickly or bend down head up cause me to almost fall over, GP Doc says it's a Virus in the inner ear usually after a cold (which I got rid of 2 weeks ago), put me on Medicine called ' SERC 16mg Not safe to drive or use knives machinery etc, which I use at work so has put me on the sick for now.

I awoke one day in Feb2000 with a bad ear infection. The doctor on call prescribed antibiotics and although the infection had diminished the tinnitus plus the fullness sensation remained. It feels sort of like a mass dangling inside my head. With every step I take there is a WING! WANG! So naturally I went back to see the doctor but he insist that there's no sign of infection.Yet the condition remains to this day. My symptoms include vertigo, dizziness, extreme memory loss and hyperacusis.
@digitaldetoxx Lately my vertigo seems to be getting worst. The dizziness last a few seconds but its becoming more frequent. To this day I have not been properly diagnosed since there are no qualified specialist (ENT) in my home town. Believe me I have been tested for several ear conditions but not a single conclusion was ever reached. I have narrowed it down to some form of vestibular dysfunction, perhaps Meniere's or Vestibular Neuritis. Dr.Shenoy insist that it's just scar tissue. *Sigh*

Try it look for it in health/herbs stores..
It works for me!! Dont stop when you feel better keep taking it for the rest of your life.
Try spinning around fast, so it makes you dizzy, then it may go back to normal. I suffer from it sometimes. I know that mine was either caused by anixity or ear damage (since ears help us balance) Could be something to do with your eyes or inner ear been damaged. Im very sorry for you xx Mine just seemed to go away
HiI had a car accident two times. The second time it happened on a highway last year. I was not going fast, but the guywho hit me was. I started having this dizziness problem this past Sept where the walls of the room start spinning around you. It was scary and I still dont know what it is. I hada cat scan, but it was negative. I told my orthopedic surgeon and he told me that it is related to the ear. I have yet to see an ent doctor for this. I feel for your problem because it is scary. Take care
I was finally diagnosed with Vertigo almost 10 years ago, after a year of suffering. Mescaline (??spelling). It helped a lot. My mom has been using Lipo flavonoid. It has been used for over 40 years in the treatment of dizzy balance ringing of the ears, nausea and all the difficult symptoms that hit. I am giving the Lipo flavonoid a try now. Hope this offer you relief.
@testpoints i would probably pass out if i turned my head right and left i can only sleep on right side wich is horrible because my body gets numb and i have to sit up slowly to sit up
@italiancherrywine thanks i have severe vertigo for over 15 years and i undesrtand emily perfectly the sad thing is there is not much they can do to cure it just aleviate it foe a while its so hard to live with this sometimes i feel so helpless and sad and i feel just like@ awwsummsauce but cant let anything in this world take away our faith my prayers to all of you and hang in there guys you never know if there will be a breakthrough for this horrible disease
There's a social network for Meniere's Disease sufferers, Tinnitus sufferers, and anyone with any inner ear or balance related illness, their family and friends are more than welcome as they are integral to a healthy support network.
menieresworld has forums, groups, video, chatrooms, games and loads more.
Hi. Just wondered if your vertigo happened AFTER the Prozac? My vertigo started after around 10 weeks on antidepressants. Whatever the case I don't think Prozac would do anything other than hinder your recovery. Best wishes to you and I hope you find a cure soon. Please inform me when/if you do. Peace. X
Just something to think about but of you are iron deficent, or even vitamin defcient it can cause light headess and dizzyness, so can inner ear imbalance. Even sever panic attacks can cause lightheaded ness, and dizzy ness all the time. I don't know if this would work but try a good vitamin with iron to, and try some panic meds like xanax, or ativan..i dont know now if this will work, but I was told i was anemic, and diet and the foods you eat, are very important as well.
How is your Vertigo now a days? I have had it for 12 years, and recently got diagnosed with a second type of Vertigo. I have some info if you're interested, and I'd also like to get more info from you as well such as the Chiropractic stuff and meds.
I am so sorry to hear that things have been so bad. I had a terrible time with this to the point which I'm sure you have got to where you don't want to live anymore.
If you have had all suspicious things ruled out then this is what you must do.
Get off the medication, perhaps stay on one to help you with anxiety. Make sure you see a specifically trained vestibular therapist.
After Epley manoeuvre you should go on to a rehabilitation course, starting very slowly with exercises, it takes months t
Hi there, I've also been suffering from vertigo for a number of years and I have been taking chinese herbal medicine which has been helping me with the dizziness and sickness.
Have you try a medicine called Meclizine? I have Meniere's Disease and it causes very sever vertigo attacks just like you where explaining, and this medicine although is not a cure but really helps subside the dizziness. Hope this helps
hey emily i just sent some vids tell me what u think im new tp this il;lness and am trying to cope best and try to get some relief please me some adive or jus point me to the direction thnk you soo much good luck on your journey
Has your Meniere's gotten better? I had it for 3 years and finally found out what would fix it, Chiropractic work, Turns out my neck bones were out of wack for sitting badly in my chair. After 2 months of visits, I have been symptom free for amost 2 months now..
Other suggestion is make sure you don't have vertical heterophoria. Go to visionspecialistsofbirmingham website to learn about it, problem is lots of docs in Europe aren't familiar w/ type causing vertigo where you don't necessarily have eyes pointing in different directions. Thirdly, Munich has lots of vestibular specialists who r neurologists, lots use anti-epileptic meds or combo meds to combat the vert.
first try to get help from a vestibular specialist which is not an normal ENT but someone specialized only in vestibular issues, they need to do an electronystagmography to discern if the vertigo is central (brain) or peripheral (labyrinths and stuff). Mine is both. Anyway with that test they know better what to prescribe. gingko biloba helps 6000 mg (not the leaf extract which is weaker). see zipvit uk type
i always have vertigo to and it sucks. i had it for 9 days now. and yea i here it can last a week or 2. or mounths or even years. im a pill for it now. idk if it will work. but yea i know how u feel. can,t get up sometimes. somethings i,ll get like that. if i get up everythng will spin and will feel like i want puke. yea i really hope we all get better from it.
I cured my horrible TWO YEAR bout with vertigo with some advise from European friends. They told me to breath steam......., So I did it daily for a week for about 45 minutes or so then as much as I could take.
I was just diagnosed with Vertigo this past couple days. I am so wacked out I can barely get around at times. I am wondering if this Coumadin I am on caused this (only been on that for about a month). There is no way I could ever get a regular office job with this and am extremely happy I work from home.
I just came from the ER and was diagnosed with vertigo, they gave me Antivert/Meclizine so far its seeming to help! Good luck i cant imagine having this for the 1 to 3 weeks the doc told me it takes for recovery, let alone years.
I have the same and just eliminating MSG or flavour enhancers out of my diet along with artificial sweeteners has helped big time......try if you have not already ...cheers...
cause of Vertigo is spending to much time "in front of the computer" without ever having a break... have a 15 minute break every 1 hour
if your computer monitor is too bright, adjust the settings to lower the brightness.. flashing super brightness of the comp monitor and moving of your eyes causes vertigo EVEN When you sleep!!
I do Not know If It will help but I would say The Bob Beck Protocol using Sota Instruments & an actual Rife machine as Royal R Rife used I think TrueRife Is the best but this stuff Now days Is way over priced, I hate people that take advantage of other People with high way robbery as that.
Listen up! I've been like that fot almost 2 years and the only thing that cslms me down is reading the bible! I got diagnosed with anxiety, panick disorder and have tried lots of meds! The best medicine so far is god! So i recommend reading the bible! Its nice to know that you can put all your problems in his hands and that takes my worries off!
I've got the same, or kind of.... lightheaded all time, weir 3dimensional perception... tinnitus.... i've watched Dr.Clark in youtube and he says it can be autoimmune..! people on raw food diet also make a detox that sometimes cures.
did you tried anything that helped? See yaa from Barcelona
I feel your pain. But I will say this...if you've had all the ear, nose and throat checks and nothing "physical" has been found, it's almost certainly anxiety / mental.
I've had dizziness for about 9 months now, and at first I was convinced I had an inner ear problem or MS or something. However, a long time it became obvious is was a mental thing. CBT helped a bit, but I'm still trying to kick it completely.
Dear, I think your vestibular nerve and the blood vessel within the inner ear has overlapped so . Excercise or go for operation medicine will not help. Medicine only cure the anxiety caused by vertigo not cure the vertigo.
So exercise for example turning your head left for 30 sec and then right for 30 sec . Repeat 100 times you will feel better. I am feeling same thing and feel better after exercise.
hi there.. i really feel for you.. i was dx with menieres disease which also causes fullness and pressure and tinitis in ears , but now have severe vertigo with other neurological symptoms so im pushing to see a neuro, but my gp isn't having it:)
i've3 tried all those meds you tried too, am also on betahistine for the menieres but that doesnt work either:)
its the worst thing beeing dizzy and balance probs and nausea. hugs, bluebellx
I had my doctor perforate my eardrum (i.e., small tube in affected ear) to relieve the effects of pressure changes in the atmosphere. I have a problem with my eustachian tube clogging up, and apparently my cochlea is calcified. Since I've had the ear tube inserted...ALL major nausea/dizziness is gone. My hearing in that ear is pretty much gone, but it was before anyway. I do have constant ringing, and mild diziness when I make sudden movements...gonna check on repositioning exercises w/ doc.
@14sJakeB190 i feel ya. im working just to survive and dont have spare money. my dizziness just came back, i had vertigo for years. it comes and goes. i feel like shit.
hi emily i got to tell you this is the worst i heard that a good diet also works but it seems like no one believes me my mother looks and says things with out thinking and dont really understand how much we are really suffering theres times i want to hang with my kids and play sports but i cant i really hope that we all get better i can only talk about what worked for me in the past and thats cantalope try it and see if it works
I've had it for 30 years and just came across this on YouTube.. honestly this seems to be my symptoms seeing as all MRI, inner ear and eye tests they did at the hospital came out 'normal'... Search for this video in YouTube: Channel 7 News - Dr. Debby Feinberg - Headaches and Dizziness Caused By Eye Misalignment - VHS
I'm actually quite excited as I haven't been diagnosed either, but this actually suggests all of my symptoms xx
@roxblue5 It's a condition called 'Vertical Heterophoria' which means that your eyes are out of alignment, which causes DIZZINESS and headaches and other symptoms. I've suffered for years, so I know everyone's pain. x
Hi Emily, I'm sure you've already seen a neurologist, but please make sure you've tried treatment for migraine associated vertigo/dysequilibrium. This would include a migraine prophylactic (every day preventative) med, migraine diet or other environmental changes to figure out triggers & see a physical therapist who specializes in vestibular rehab. You may not have been dx with migraines, but your short video sounds like a path you should pursue. Migraines cause dizz. even without headache
what i do is i tell myself that im just tired or that its something else that makes me dizzy. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. it started 3 months ago, out of nowhere. i hate this crap, it makes me feel like im losing my mind.
have you gotten any tips? i got pills for it but all they do is make me sleepy :(. i can't stand it, i can barely get out of bed to get water without getting dizzy
have you gotten any tips? i got pills for it but all they do is make me sleepy :(. i can't stand it, i can barely get out of bed to get water without getting dizzy.
Here is a long shot. You posted this a long time ago, but if you've been living in the same place for all the time you've had dizziness - check for carbon monoxide levels and/or gas leaks as low level leaks could be causing this if you've not found anything else.
hey emilly i startded feeling this way almost a month ago visit vampire arturo video on utube live a coment i will try to helpo u and i hope u can help me
Whenever you feel dizzy, i recomend laying down for a nice, long nap. that helps my dizziness, although, i dont have vertigo dizziness. hope it helps. get well soon!!!!
When you get vertigo from menieres do not move around stay still keeping your eyes open and focus on one object until the dizzyness stops it works for me
try NOT to be stressed, do plenty of exercises and be happy! It is helping me. I do things I love and I don't compare myself with anybody. I just enjoy life.
People with Vertigo can try "pranayama" (it is a breathing technique). it dosent given overnight results. however u have practice it for a long periods of time. there are many videos on pranayama on youtube.
Vertigo is such an incredibly horrifying experience!! -Especially when it gets so bad, that you cannot even move your head. I have found two things that have actually really helped me.
1. In the middle of a bad spell, I spray AFRIN NOSE SPRAY into the a nostril and tip my head (hold on tight!!) to the side, so it can get into the ear canal a bit. Then I do the other nostril. Other nose sprays have not helped. Spinning STOPS!
oh i forgot to mention that sometimes the liver needs to be detoxed as well, so check into that, it may sound weird but i was doing ana brett dvd yoga cleanse and maybe thats why i havent had any problems until i got on that dum inversion table and fell asleep and got up walking funny..
hi i have mild vertigos but is not as bad it comes and goes, last year i was cool nothing happen until a few days ago i was on my inversion table and threw it off, for me i stay off the caffeine and i dont sleep on my back anymore only on my sides and do the brandt exercises, oh my right ear usually has build up flax so i would have to get the ear checked and cleaned out once or twice a year...
Hi people :) Because I have had so many responses and every case is different I just thought it would be easier to respond here in one comment! Basically if you are having problems with vertigo go to the doc, ask for a diagnosis, if they don't give you one then search up on the net. I can't give you any info on how to make it better as I'm just as in the dark as you! But at least this video has shown the amount of people suffering from this that can't get any help. We now know we are not alone.
Hi I suffer with bad vertigo too , the best advice I have been given is that taking most forms of medication for dizziness can prolong recovery rate + often make the dizziness worse. If possible it would be great to try and go without medication - as for me tablet didnt help! this sounds silly but have you tried ginger - really well known for helping dizziness and nausea .
I know a lot of people have asked but if anyone has any more information on this I'd also love to hear it. I'm 18 and have been having dizzy spells for the past year and a half. They were more of a nuisance than anything but the past month they have been a lot worse. I've had my blood tested a gazillion times, had a CT scan, been to a chiropractor, I'm having a halter monitor test done next month to see if it's a heart problem but apart from that the doctors can't seem to find anything.
I have vertigo, its 24-7 and it's very debilitating, I am waiting on my heart monitor results to see if it's cardio but since I'm only 29 the doc says this is unlikey! I have been tested for positional vertigo and it was negative. My thyroid was low so I'm on meds and they do sometimes help. I would recommend getting your thyroid tested, but a prayer always works well too so I will pray for you and everyone else on here!
i also have bin sufferin with Vertigo for about 4 years just recently its has got worse i do have crap diet and smoke weed and play online games for about 6 hours a nite mabee this is my cause also my job i paint cars the fumes dont do me any good either i lol but it isnt that funny anymore i want these dizzy spells to bugger off i feel like my life is startin to be controlled over this the only way i can explain wots happenin to me is its like im havin outer body experiance or Anxiety
I relate to all but smoking the weed... Ive been doing body work for 10 yrs. and play Socom everynight... I thought it may be the games but quit playing for 3 mths. Didnt get any better... Ive had blood test run looking for any lead or other metals from body shop but showed none.. Ive been part time last couple of months cause i cant drive anymore from the constant dizziness and im only 30... Ive wondered all along if the Chemicals floating around the shop are the cause of all this...
i still havent found out why i feel dizzy i still have it but now u mention about u into body work and u suffering from same thing mabee i and u should look into Xylene Poisoning... i think if some 1 gets that then they could possibly never work around cars again there has bin many times ive bin paintin a car and ive felt like im gona pass out, i thought it mabee was the heat gettin to me from the booth's
I just started to be dizzy the last two weeks. I went to get checked -they examed my ears for starters and they didnt find anything so far so I wil have to go back for other exams. Really sux because the next exam will only be 20 days until then I'm just taking some drug called Betarevin.
the last time i had a very bad vertigo attack was 3 months ago. i also quit smoking 3 months ago, and i believe the quitting helped. sometimes i still feel a little woozy, but it's nowhere near as bad. next up is changing the diet. no more fatty crappy foods. only healthy foods and low sodium foods and drinks.
Does anybody here that suffers from this vertigo feel that it would help to have a forum for this ? somewhere live to chat to each other..if so please let me know by responding to this site. I have suffered with these symptoms for 30 years and for the most part of those years there has never been any place where you can actually chat to other suffers to help support, what do you all think about this?
My mother has vertigo/ dizziness type. I am only in my young teenager years and I am very worried. My mom just started about a few months ago, almost a year. All I know of what she is trying to do to help herself is planning on going to a physical therapist. I try to help her just by saying close your eyes, but I don't think that actually helps. I am very sorry for you and hope you get better! :(
You have Vertical Hetrophoria Syndrome; Please get yourself check from an Eye Specialist they will prescribe you with Prism i have even posted video reply for you. All the best (Anim Ali Khan)
Hey thanks, for this I will check into it because I have so many vision problems as it is, may be your right, I just read an article on this and it seems very likely. I have seen so many docs and nobody can give me an awnser. :}) Thanks again!
Have you tried any exercises? I have mild vertigo, it only occurs once every couple of years and I usually feel it coming on. Then I do the exercises and I'm fine again. I have a calcium build up in my cochlea bone which causes this, then I do the exercises and it knocks out the build up. The exercise I do, I believe, is the Epley. I just found out today it has a name.
@fierygurl69 hi wat exercises do you recommend, mines is mild as well, i believe i threw my vertigo off when i was on my inversion table and fell asleep, i regret doing that. also i have arthiritis in the neck as well, this is the first one i had in a while..
I just had my first attack of Vertigo 2 days ago and this is the 3rd day and i have been in bed since. Its has not gon away but it has subsided a bit since yesterday. My boyfriend has had it since he was a lil kid. His remedy for helping it is to drink a glass of sugar water, it seems to help him but it has'nt helped me. I think it depends on the person. I don't know but give it a try it might help u. Good Luck and take care:)
Have you tried the bbq maneuver? For a year I was dizzy, and they tried Epley - nothing happened. Then, a year later, they decided to try the bbq maneuver in case it was the rarer form of BPPV dealing with the lateral (as opposed to posterior) canal. Worked, and I'm feeling much better now. Good luck. I know this is a difficult way to live.
I have had vertigo on and off for maybe 20 years. I accidently found that if I take approximately 20-30 mg. of hydracortisone, one time (I'm 180 pounds so you may need less, it stops the vertigo within 2-3 hours.
I do have lyme disease, which can be the cause. Regardless of what your cause is, hydracortisone may help. Just be sure it's hydracortisone, which is much weaker than stuff like prednisone. Don't let them make you take it for days, or higher doses. One dose does it.
What I do for that.. Is take 2 tylanol every 4 hours, so I feel close to normal. Check for Lymes disease.. you might just not have the bacterial infection like me and just the the mental vertigo stuff.. so yeah.. Weird thing sometimes "right" when it finishes I feel like great.. I just can't think about it or I might fall back into it.
I've had severe vertigo for like 4 years.. But there split moments under an hour.. I diden't know until like 2 years after the first hit. I go blind, and deaf and don't have balance which sucks.. Sometimes the vision and hearing comes back in blinks other times it's just gone.. I can't hear anyone and it can happen outta've nowhere. Although.. Often the severse like insane ones, I usually have 3 days of serious sickness before, sometimes 3 after that..
try meclizine, I was diagnosed with it about two months ago, mine is not as bad as you are describing, I woke up with it today and I took it, It Really Helps!
and now that you mention it, the migraine aura is a good posibility, ....i would ll like help you and give u more tips , if u let me of course, i hope soo and if u want to let me know ok?
hey how u doing? mmm.. ok, i dont know why they decided make u the MRI, in you case 2 they are not cheap at all hehe, another diagnostic tool is the TAC, but your doc has his own criterium, and about menieres u have to comply with the 3 clasical symptoms. but the hearing loss is not always noted by the patient is necesary do especific tests,
I think menieres is the most likely, but I dont get hearing loss, just ringing sometimes. I will look into all your tips, and am forever grateful for your help :)
Wow, didnt think this vid would get this many responses lol. To answer all your questions at once, I have indeed had an MRI scan, two actually, and everything was found to be normal. I do have problems with my jaw so tmj is a possibility. I also get headaches and usually get the really bad vertigo attacks the day before i get a headache, and it is always worse when i have one so MAV is also a contender. I have had the tests done for BPPV and it was clear.
hey girl i was just looking around and i got interested in your case, but its difficult understand you for your accent, :p but u said that you have try prozac and diazepam, but you sholud try an antihistaminic like meclizine, ciclizine, difenhidramine (but the dose have to be acord to you weigh) they have a good answer in vertigo, in case that the problem was in periferical area, i hope this can help you. and let me know ;)
Actually on the drug side there is a homeopathic called occulus continium and it's sort of like dramamine - but homeopathic - might be something to look into as well. Also - if you have rinigng and/or hearing loss in conjunction... menieres.... i'm just shot gunning ideas.
Thoughts - You didn't mention you'd had an MRI. You should do this to make sure that it isn't a tumor. (I know that sounds severe, but better to know.) Did you mention BPPV therapy.... Did anyone see if the "particles" in your ears were out of place - is that the maneuver you mentioned? There is vestibular retraining which involves a lot of eye and head motions. There is a diarrhetic type of medication which would help if it was something like menier's... any other symptoms?
I have been dealing with vertigo for over a year now. Valium used to help but doesn't anymore. I'm dizzy while typing this. I'm trying to look into treatment for tmj since my jaw has been bothering me as well and I've heard that it could be associated with vertigo. I'm tired of this dizziness taking over my life. I know how you feel. Hopefully we can both find a cure.
i completly feel ur pain, ive had this since ive been 4 years old...i'm 19 now and i havent come across a cure at all. its awful!! im so sick of just sitting through it helpless wih no answer!
I suffer from this as well, and it has been at least a year since I have had this....I not sure of the cause but I do know that it makes you want to scream, because your body get's weal with it...I do know my body is trying to tell me something....but I have no idea what it is....Dehydration could be a cause because I don't drink much water...just a lot of juice...
I am so sorry you are going through this. I too have vertigo and dizziness. I've had it for 5 years. They *think* mine is due to migraines. I take a beta blocker, and it helps a bit.... I just found that time helped it to improve and that there are good days and bad days. Just keep your chin up and stay strong. A good day will be right around the corner.

Peace. X

Also nuralogical problems can cause light headed ness and dizzyness to, yep all day. Just somethings you might want to look into.
rattqueen6969 5 months ago

Pangloss98 1 year ago
first try to get help from a vestibular specialist which is not an normal ENT but someone specialized only in vestibular issues, they need to do an electronystagmography to discern if the vertigo is central (brain) or peripheral (labyrinths and stuff). Mine is both. Anyway with that test they know better what to prescribe. gingko biloba helps 6000 mg (not the leaf extract which is weaker). see zipvit uk type
Pangloss98 1 year ago
Try magnesium
Recent research has suggested that it's a magnesium deficiency.
If that does not work try vitamin D

cause of Vertigo is spending to much time "in front of the computer" without ever having a break... have a 15 minute break every 1 hour
if your computer monitor is too bright, adjust the settings to lower the brightness.. flashing super brightness of the comp monitor and moving of your eyes causes vertigo EVEN When you sleep!!

Hi Emily,
I feel your pain.
Good luck!

Here is a long shot. You posted this a long time ago, but if you've been living in the same place for all the time you've had dizziness - check for carbon monoxide levels and/or gas leaks as low level leaks could be causing this if you've not found anything else.

2. GINGER helps daily!!

I've had my blood tested a gazillion times, had a CT scan, been to a chiropractor, I'm having a halter monitor test done next month to see if it's a heart problem but apart from that the doctors can't seem to find anything.
mirroredmalice 2 years ago
I have vertigo, its 24-7 and it's very debilitating, I am waiting on my heart monitor results to see if it's cardio but since I'm only 29 the doc says this is unlikey! I have been tested for positional vertigo and it was negative. My thyroid was low so I'm on meds and they do sometimes help. I would recommend getting your thyroid tested, but a prayer always works well too so I will pray for you and everyone else on here!

Although.. Often the severse like insane ones, I usually have 3 days of serious sickness before, sometimes 3 after that..

piero8484 2 years ago
hey how u doing? mmm.. ok, i dont know why they decided make u the MRI, in you case 2 they are not cheap at all hehe, another diagnostic tool is the TAC, but your doc has his own criterium, and about menieres u have to comply with the 3 clasical symptoms. but the hearing loss is not always noted by the patient is necesary do especific tests,
piero8484 2 years ago
I think menieres is the most likely, but I dont get hearing loss, just ringing sometimes. I will look into all your tips, and am forever grateful for your help :)
emilyharwood89 2 years ago
Wow, didnt think this vid would get this many responses lol. To answer all your questions at once, I have indeed had an MRI scan, two actually, and everything was found to be normal. I do have problems with my jaw so tmj is a possibility. I also get headaches and usually get the really bad vertigo attacks the day before i get a headache, and it is always worse when i have one so MAV is also a contender. I have had the tests done for BPPV and it was clear.
emilyharwood89 2 years ago
in case of meniere disease represented by this 3 especific symptoms vertigo, hearing loss and rinning you should try hydrochlorothiazide
piero8484 2 years ago
hey girl i was just looking around and i got interested in your case, but its difficult understand you for your accent, :p but u said that you have try prozac and diazepam, but you sholud try an antihistaminic like meclizine, ciclizine, difenhidramine (but the dose have to be acord to you weigh) they have a good answer in vertigo, in case that the problem was in periferical area, i hope this can help you. and let me know ;)
piero8484 2 years ago
Actually on the drug side there is a homeopathic called occulus continium and it's sort of like dramamine - but homeopathic - might be something to look into as well. Also - if you have rinigng and/or hearing loss in conjunction... menieres.... i'm just shot gunning ideas.
manexmachina 2 years ago

Read the Book: "Your body's many cries for water"
Dehydration and mineral deficentcy might be your problem. My mom just got over her vertigo.
