I liked the second format of TJW '90 better than the first. However, the dollar bills that were used on the first version could have been used for a "Face the Devil" game for the bonus round.
This is better, this is better. When you produce a revival of a classic game show you want to keep it close to the classic version & not deviate too much away from it. WHile they are still in the defanition format, nothing is at a total loss here since we have catagories. It seems that this was enacted to please those who were fans of the original Joker's Wild; I say it was too little too late as the show was cacelled a year after the premire. Good game so far though.
Ya know, you can't really blame Pat Finn. Look at who he had to follow. Allen Ludden hosted a pilot in 1969, Jack Barry hosted it for on and off 12 years and Bill Cullen (the dean of game shows!) hosted it for 2 years.

Am I the only one who thinks those graphics -- on the wheels -- are VERY, maybe even TOO hard to read?

Nope, you're not.
They changed them to something much more readable a few episodes after this one; check the graphics on the $36K win episode to see what I mean.
