  • You are the coolest guy in youtube, haha. Thank you for making this video for us.

  • @210darkknight1982 haha no problem bro

  • Humans4targets, why do you let this retard spam your comments section?

  • @Rheinmetall20mm a 25!!!!??????....oh please quit talking with me Fag!!..I once saw a guy shot 8 times with a .25 and was standing up talking and of course lived...what a ignorant PUNK

  • @Rheinmetall20mm OH FUCK!!....we fucking HIGH fucking fived mother fucker after killing Taliban..took pictures with their bodies...they were trying to kill us and had killed my friends...you're a fucking liar or these "veterans" lied to you about actual combat.......quit watching teary eyed ww2 vets on the Discovery Channel....we toasted the deaths of men who had hung 8 year olds ya TOOL

  • Respond to this video...Ten years older and NEVER fought in a REAL ACTUALLY LIFE AND DEATH FIREFIGHT...let alone SEVERAL....fuck you and you're welcome for those right in which I almost died and many of my friends died for you to be able to make a fucking fool out of yourself in this venue

  • @Rheinmetall20mm really??? you spent 20 years in the Army...6 ...and my "glory days saw me shot twice...6 of them as a Ranger 1/75th Reg..your 48 years old and started with a Rem Nylon 88 40 years ago huh MORON??...you daily work harder than Ranger school???...harder than fighting in 3 wars one lasting 10 years..uuhhh OKAAAYY..and those "glory days"?? I was shot twice...once in the neck from 40 ft away which almost killed me...I saw 5 of my good buddies die...yeah...they were glorious ASSHOLE

  • @Rheinmetall20mm well I when I killed 3 Taliban in a firefight from across from a dirt road about 25ft away I wasn't using a knife,,,I used 3 M-4's that jammed one after another...a 9mm semi that jammed and when I was rushed by TWO insurgents I capped them w/ my back up .357 S&W...deal with the truth..and I LAUGH so hard at you...far more than ONE man carried a revolver in ww2, Viet Nam and in the Persian Gulf war where I used a revolver as a side arm which the Army allowed if you paid for it

  • @Rheinmetall20mm 10mm GLOCK is NOT more powerful that a .357 magnum DUMBASS.....Ardennes!!!????...try the MUCH MORE POWERFUL Colt .45 Commander idiot...9mm's are WEAK

  • @Rheinmetall20mm oh boy...Tell Bin laden what a piece of shit a M4 is...I KNOW for a fact you have NEVER fired a full auto one NOW HAVE YOU???...and if you knew ANYTHING about Glock 9mm is a low power weapon....A .357 Mag has TWICE the power...which one YOU want to be hit w/ fool...matter of fact...Delta carries them...I'm sure you heard of them, right??? ya..you come from a "military" family...the US Air force reserve finance office doesn't really count in such matters..MORON

  • @Rheinmetall20mm 20mm and you've used that Glock in a life and death struggle huh MORON?.I'm thinking NO.did I say revolvers NEVER fail?nope my retarted friend, I didn't...if your too stupid to know they ARE much more reliable than a semi...what more can I tell ya....and I didn't carry an m-4 TOOL..I was a senior officer...maybe someday when you get in your 20's you'll learn shooting at a range and using your Weapon that's been in a desert all day at a super fire rate your plastic gun will jam

  • @Rheinmetall20mm really...so you've been shooting for 40 years??..don't think so with that mullet face I see on your channel..if you actually KNEW what you were talking about we are allowed to buy and use our own weapons as a secondary in the 1st Persian gulf war...and again in Afghanistan were I was a Major by then...we can use OUR OWN SIDEARMS...you fucking ignorant fool

  • @Rheinmetall20mm even MOST experienced ploice officers will ALWAYS have a revolver as backup...I have seen Semi's even under excellent care jam in combat.....we always carried a leg revolver...or possibly die...my perfectly maintained Glock just jammed on my 3 times two days ago

  • @Rheinmetall20mm tell a US Army Ranger who has received the Bronze star, The Silver Star, 2 Purple Hearts ALL about it MORON..LMFAO...who carry's revolvers...ALL EXPERIENCED combat vets who can buy one and get it out there...we carry BOTH IDIOT...and why???...because when our Semi's jam in ACTUAL combat (not at a range) we use our back up revolver....do some research and remove your foot from your mouth...even Delta carries a revolver know it all

  • @Rheinmetall20mm really dumbass...first of all When I was in Afghanistan the UK didn't EVEN get into an actual firefight at close range EVER...I was an OFFICER fool...we carry a side arm....if you expect me to believe you EVER fire anything close to a 1,000 rounds at an actual visible target you and I know both know it's a lie......I am an ACTUAL COMBAT veteran..I have killed 4 men...wounded 6 and received the Bronze Star..the Silver star and have engaged an enemy from across a dirt road..FOOL

  • @Rheinmetall20mm you'll be a revolver guy when and if your semi jams on you in an emergency like I seen happen in combat a HUNDRED times....

  • I have a taraus m44 which a copy of the s&w m29 and nearly just as good mine has 11.5 inch barrel in stainless

  • Only thing you need are the wood grips...though those grips are painful to use (the top has a rough edge that rips into the webbing of your thumb.)

That, and Dirty Harry has the 6.5" barrel - 8" is a little insane :)

Love my Model 29-10 though, great gun. Far and exceeds my Model 58.

  • @Rheinmetall20mm No buffalo bore yet, just standard stuff and yeah these are great revolvers.

  • @humans4targets2 if you are willing to shoot that beauty can you make a big shooting video with it

  • @Rheinmetall20mm She is a blue pitt and weighs about 55 pounds very solid, did you see my mole Goro yet?

  • @Rheinmetall20mm Yep that is my Jade, I have another one a male named Goro he weighs 100 pounds!

  • @Rheinmetall20mm Between $700-$1000 depending on year and condition, the older ones in great shape are more expensive.

  • @Rheinmetall20mm Yeah man, she is sweet!

  • not the most powerfull handgun check out fps russia

  • I have a S.&W. 66-2 stainless, love it, but I'm trying to convince my dad to get a blued, classic Model 29 over the Glock he covets... Come on, a Dirty Harry .44 Magnum is way cooler than a Glock!

  • Awsome looking gun and they are indeed fun to shoot. But in today's world this revolver against a Glock 30 or 45 ACP 1911, it would have no chance of staying in the game. They are great for Movies and they were dandy back in the day, but today they can't even come close to dominateing in a gun fight unless they are up against another revolver.

  • I had to chnge my pants from looking down the sight posts, although not in quite the same way as i would the other way ;)

  • Sadly you can't own one here in England. Not legally anyway. A shame as it's just a beautiful weapon and something I'd love to own.

  • Just hunting gun nothing more. Just a fad of the early 70sh . god you are an overkill aren, you . You do not carry that .Do you?

  • Just hunting gun nothing more. Just a fad of the early 70sh .

  • my dad gave me this gun when i turned 21 it is his gun he got a long time ago the handle is stock wood though and i love it nice review.

  • My dad as one? my favorite gun ever.

  • I'm not much of a gun enthusiast, but I have been a fan of Clint Eastwood and especially the Dirty Harry series and being the movie buff I am I would like to know what process would I have to take to get this kind of gun?

  • @ExplorerBillyy Are you in the U.S. and if so what state?

  • @humans4targets2 I'm in Ohio. I'm only seventeen though so I don't think I can legally purchase it yet.

  • @ExplorerBillyy Cool, I am in Ohio also, but yeah you have a few years before you can pick one up.

  • @ExplorerBillyy Save up in the mean time, these pieces aren't cheap.

  • this guy sounds crazy..i think he shouldnt be having any guns...i dont give a fuck what the amendment says..

  • And while they're cleaning up the guy's body, you'll be making a trip to the ER to salvage what's left of your ear drums.

  • @CrystalHunter1989 What did you say>>>>

  • @humans4targets2 hickok45 has this same gun but it has the stock wood grips... great vids keep up the good work

  • i like the orginal grips. great vid.

  • How much did that set you back??

  • me, smith, and wesson

  • me, smith, and weason

  • feelin lucky

  • damn...i really wanted one of these, I had to end up going with a Taurus M44 6in ...for obvious reasons..( CA legal , price , price and price ) lol...almost went with a Raging Bull but didnt like the double locking cylinder

  • in the movie he used a 6 inch gun.

  • longer the barrel the better the accuracy..the less recoil..me i would get the 10" no doubt about it..

  • i thought the dirty hairy gun was a colt?

  • yes paul is is one of you best collection

  • How can you gain velocity from barrel length? The barrel and cylinder are not in contact, correct? Does the gas not escape at the exact time the round is fired and enters the barrel?

  • @hypertensionist It gives the powder more time to fully burn behind the round brfore it leaves the barrel

  • @humans4targets2 I understand the principle behind it, I thought that this would only be applicable in a closed bolt system. For example, in a rifle, semi-auto pistol, closed bolt system, etc. Does that make sense?

  • its an icon because its the classic hand gun that infact can blow a mans head off

and its the strongest gun in the world even stronger the the desert eagle and any other gun in are time line.

  • Both 6.5" and 8.75" barrels were used in the film.

  • LMAO H4T man you're funny, I'm laughing my ass off over here, did u really have to go and turn the movie on, just to get your point across? lol hahahahahahaaa very funny.

  • In my opinion, the best revolver of all time.

  • My dad also has a Model 29 with the 8-3/8in barrel. They did it at that length to keep the sight radius within 10 inches-- the maximum sight radius for most competition shoots. I myself prefer the gun with that barrel length with the short underlug (the full underlug on the 629 is ugly, IMO).

  • The barrel is a tad too long. The "Dirty Harry" model is a 6 1/2 inch barrel.

  • @thx113875 Yes the gun in the movie is 6.5 inch barrel model 29-1

  • @humans4targets2

Actually, both the 6 1/2" and the 8 3/8" were used in the movie, it depends on which scene as to which is being used.

  • @humans4targets2 The gun in the movie is actually a .41, too ;)

  • Nice gun, what many people don't realize though is that in the movie a .41 magnum in the 29 was actually used with a 5" barrel. And people will argue with me all day on this.

  • @cashbrotha On which film are you referring to? If you're talking about Dirty Harry and Magnum Force, you would be incorrect. A .41 magnum was not used, nor was a 5-inch model 29. There were TWO guns used in the filming and publicity shots. They are BOTH Model 29's with 6.5-inch barrels. How do I know this? I've seen them profiled in an article, and the writer of both films John Milius, confirms this in an interview, which you can see here: watch?v=ltBhm64WrQQ

  • really nice revolver you pyton and cobra to

  • just great video

  • This looks to be Nickel plated or such which would make it a 629. Still good though.

  • lmao! it is black man, might want to check your computer screen,

  • My bad, watched it on my iPod. Nice reviews though.

  • @humans4targets2 In his defense it is a really shiny black finish

  • @humans4targets2

The Model 29 came in both blued and nickel plated. The 629 is stainless.

  • @humans4targets2 could blow your head clean off, you just got to ask oyurself one question, do you feel lucky? Well do ya punk? nah just kidding, but it is a great gun

  • @SecretService80 they are nickel plated model 29s

  • @ChromeGhost0219 OH MY GOD! How did I not think of that!? I feel REALLY stupid now. Thanks for the correction.

  • @SecretService80 dont you mean stainless steel? because I have never seen a nickle plated 629

  • @ChromeGhost0219 All 629's are the silver-colored version. I can't ever tell the difference between stainless steel or nickel plated.

  • @SecretService80 there is a slight difference

  • @SecretService80 The M.629 is in stainless steel.

  • @NGP58 I said "nickel, or such" I didn't know 6 months ago what it was for sure. Look at the other comments before you jump to conclusions.

  • @SecretService80 Dude, if you're gonna roll in with a "correction" of H4T regarding a gun that he, and most of the people watching, know alot more about than you do, at least get it right. The Model 29 comes in blue and nickel (this one is clearly blue), while the 629 is the stainless equivalent.

  • @TheApostleP Hey, fuck you buddy. I was 14 when I wrote that. I didn't know the difference between nickel and stainless, and as I stated, it looked stainless to me on the screen that I watched it on. I can gain knowledge, but you can't lose your asshole personality.

  • I own the 629 classic power ported version of this gun. I installed a crimson laser grip on it and installed wolf springs for it. Wolf standard main spring, extra power cylinder stop spring, and 11 lb rebound spring. I topped it off with a "trigger job" from my local gun smith to make it butter smooth.

  • iam look so many times is video colt SW any modeles is like ART piece so unique like your pyton 1975 and cobra so so unique love it

  • hi when you show guns at some friends give him coton gloves for touch like money collection specialy your colt collection pyton cobra 357mag 44 mag and more

  • Thanks my friend.

  • i have the 629 classic with a red dot i payed $550 for it for u paul what do u think is the best brand of a wheel gun for 357mag an 44mag ?

  • I think that I would have to say smith on both those.

  • the best actor ever and dirty harry is the best movie along with the movie in the line of fire also starring clint eastwood

  • Sorry to hear that bro, I have the 4" and 8" barrel models and they dont get shot much....

  • I love the finish on that gun, looks amazing.

Would you mind telling us how much it cost you used, as I know they aren't in production anymore and it's a movie icon's firearm in several movies. Was it a pretty penny? Thanks, take care!

  • Damn. Its been years since I seen one of those! I forgot how sexy that gun is.

  • just asking is the 50 calibur pistol a magnum

  • My .500 smith is a magnum.

  • I think he might have been talking about the .50 Desert Eagle

  • you have good taste. When you buy a gun in Vegas can you walk out with it?

  • I think so, they would call in your info and get an istant check on you.

  • "and will blow ur head clean, off.."

    gotta love that, beautiful weapon,

i want to say ,revolvers ,are making a comeback, but that would be foolish,to say

cause revolvers NEVER ,left the scene

  • simply awesome!!! 5*

  • OOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

  • Great weapon . I think Harry used a 5" . It doesn't matter those things will break your wrist . Wax it up man . Have a great Turkey Day .

  • why does EVERYBODY call they old .44 mag a dirty harry? so played out, i'm 25... i never seen one dirty harry movie. but cool gun...

  • I agree it's played out, but the fact of the matter is the .44 magnum would have faded away by now if it weren't for the publicity generated from the Dirty Harry movies ...

  • Because it's a 29. The one and only.

  • It's just what most people refer to them as, it was so popular after the movie came out, Smith & Wesson could not make enough of them, and guys were selling them used for 3 times what the original cost was. Check oput the movie sometime and you will like it, was filmed in Cali also!

  • im 21 and Ive seen them, so bad ass of a movie, especially the character Eastwood plays. come on its Clint Eastwood, cant go wrong. you should watch the movie if you haven't, you might like it. haha happy thanksgiving.

  • Beautiful piece

  • damn that things a beast

  • Great vid paul. i take it you can only find the 29 used these days.

  • They still make a new version, but it is stamber classic on the barrel....

  • WOW! That's a beautiful gun, love all the Dirty Harry movies. Clint Eastwood is an Icon for gun shooting movies. Thanks for sharing this video.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Thank you sir!

  • Very nice Paul!!! Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Thanks Jeff, happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  • oooohhhhhhhh good choice h4t. this is my favorite magnum. I always love messing around with em at the gun shop at least. Happy Thanksgiving, big man! Give Jade lots of leftovers.

  • Thanks bro. and im sure Jade will be well fed! lol

  • It's like the scene from Taxi Driver when he shoots the guy with the .44 magnum.

  • In the right hands, that gun can hit steel out to 200 yards. I have seen it done with a 6 inch barrel. They are sweet handguns. There are probably some nasty melons out there waiting for you.

  • Yeah, I have heard these will reach out there.

  • Looks awesome!

Seems like everyone is doing these 44 magnum videos for some reason now. lol

    =)

  • Yeah a lot of those on here.

  • Nice rifle. I knew you couldn't resist getting something. Awesome gun Paul

  • loool! ok brother and have an happy thanksgiving

  • Hey can you do a shooting video with this beautifull gun you got?

  • Why yes I sure can, have a couple of other things lined up to shoot first though.

  • You are killing me! Man what a beauty!!! I had the 4" God I want it back.5/5.Hey Clint watches my vids too.LOL! Thanks.

  • Lmao! After talking with you on the phone Bill, Clint called me and he said he liked your 2 part revolver video's, he said kudo's to Bill! lololololololol

  • Nice gun!!!

  • What's the story with the "wide target trigger"? How does that work?

  • It is basically just an over sized hammer and trigger, the wide trigger is much more comfortable and allows you to pull of a smoother shot, Smith&Wesson labels these "target trigger and hammer".

  • I think Clint is a big fan of my vids too! LMAO!!!

    Five Stars my Friend!!

  • Yes, Clint once sent me a link to your video's....

  • This has to be one of my favorite revolvers.

  • Yes sir, this gun never goes out of style.
