Don't settle for anything less than the best. DeathAdder and Copperhead are the budget mice. If you want the best, get the Lachesis or the Mamba. Own both myself, and I switch between the two every few days or so. =]

If you're right handed get the DeathAdder. The 3G Infrared Sensor is a lot better than the laser on the copperhead.

You don't need 4k DPI , I have a lachesis now . But you need the capability of it going up to 4k ... I need the 3.2k and the 2.5k for my AWP and the Krieg Commando ( in Scope mode ) If you buy a Razer , Get a eXactMat for optimum teflon slickness :)

No one seriuosly needs 4k DPI.Lets say u play q3 with a 800 DPI mouse with a sensitivity of 9,if you use a 4k DPI mouse its like using your old mouse with a sensitivity of more then 30. I have a copperhead in windows i use 2k DPI, in shooters also 2k DPI, in SC i use 800 DPI, in WC3 i use 1600 DPI (since resolutions change so does my DPI SC is 640x480,wc3 i play in 1280x1024 my sens is the same in both games).DPI alone doesnt make it more acurate, just faster.

Srry to dissapoint all these Copperhead owners.. It WAS the best, but DeathAdder has taken its spot :) .. I dont got it myself (G5 i got), but thats just what websites says. Maybe some of you play better with the Copperhead, but the mouse itself, isnt better than DeathAdder

That depends on the user's preference. Finger users like the Copperhead, and palm users like the DeathAdder.
