  • Motion sickness =_=

  • man sega neptune....wish I had a prototype,

  • @iGh0stAssasin

People have actually made their own neptunes by combining a 32x and genesis. If you have the technical knowledge, it's not as hard as you think.

  • OMFG!!!! THAT WAS NO NORMAL FALCON!!!! That was the special hand made prop used on the box art for star voyager by imagic on the 2600!!!!

  • I like these tours on your channel gamester! It's fun to see these conventions because I never get to go to any. Last one I got to was the classic gaming expo in San Jose, ca. That was fun. Got a bunch of philips cdi games

  • Wow I can't believe they have a Neptune, useless as it may be, that's gotta be one of the rarest consoles to own.

  • good to see some never relesed sw games! sweet artwork on em! nice rob! thanks for the tour!

  • Classic Gaming Expo 201- Museum Part 1 there is a part 2 look on the channel we'll be back in 2011 If they have one look for a blond headed kid and his dad :D

  • so just what are those yellow NES games which have a black and white sticker on them??

  • That's a great collection! :)

  • A neptune, Holy Sh@t

  • What is that red Nintendo TV at 2:11 ?

  • I saw what looked like donke kong country in that box, why is that rare? was it a special edition limited version of donkey kong country or something?

  • This place is a goldmine! But seriously, thats amazing!:D

  • Great video my friend!

  • What are the yellow zelda cartridge and the weird deformed white cartridge below it please answer

  • Someday I want to go to one of these Expos :), "expecially with a diposable income".

  • Cool Video, Wish i could have been there!

  • has anybody saw a snes game with an upside down label? are they rare or are they possibly fake? i found one and i dont know what the deal with it is

  • You seem to mumble a lot, it's kind of hard to understand you.

  • Another great vid. Thanks fir sharing

  • I too grew up with Oregon Trail on the Apple II. Good stuff.

  • What was that yellow Zelda cartridge?

  • also back in the old days, i got lucky, i had the release of Sega Channel.

  • i was born in 1984, i remember when nintendo and sega were barely rolling out with game systems way before sony and microsoft rolled out. i had the original gameboy, NES, and Sega Genesis, Game Gear, and Sega Master and finally the Segha Saturn.

  • Seriously Donkey Kong Country is a rare one? Man that really sux since i sold my entire SNES collection to my cousin in 1997. Oh well I can get it back. Everything is in like new condition.Anyone know why DKC is a rare game? It was very popular for the time.

  • sweeet!!!! i love growing up with classics, it takes me back to the old days.

  • @sonypsp05 Yeah i grew up with the classics starting in 1990. I started gaming on the original game boy. Zelda was my first game to ever play.THis is a very interesting museum of classic gaming stuff. This video takes me back. Sounds like the Neptune should have been released.

  • Great video. Could totally hear a tiny bit of longing in your voice when you talked about some of the rare stuff you don't have. :D

  • @KyoshoBallard Yeah, I am amazed at how good of condition all this old stuff is in. It all looks brand spankin new wow!

  • 3:47 ATARI panther. Looks way different than the animations and drawings of it. I never really knew what it really looked like.

  • seria fantastico si hubiera subtitulos en espanol !!

lindo museo lastima que dan desmostraciones de que sirven los juegos

  • too bad there's no Atari Panther here...

  • @rescuehero942 Cause, you know, we all want to see that!

  • Thats a crazy collection of retro games and consoles all in one place, would be cool to see them all... nice video cheers for sharing matey ;o)

  • WOW! All Museums should be like this... I'd be looking round here for days!

  • wow what a collection

  • Such a great collection of games/consoles. Probably gonna have a few vids of my own. Any way you could send me over the GameTalk vid so I can use some of that footage?

  • Man! I bet you won't find any of this stuff on eBay. Loving the robots! lol :-)

  • @8BitROB or at a yard sale

  • damn i never saw a Neptune!!!!!!

  • Damm some really nice stuff

  • Glad you enjoyed the expo. I couldn't come this year. Next year, I think it would be awesome to come :)

  • WOw! Wish I was there John!! Amazing displays of classic consoles! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait for the next part =)

  • John I think with Your collection You can build Your own museum.

  • Wow that is awesome I like that SEGA Genesis 32X system I would love to own that . Cool museum.

  • u didnt join the compilation

  • i have question is this for all ages becuase i lived in vegas and i missed this becasue i thought i was isnt old enough to get in

  • Awesome video. Seeing all that retro gear is really interesting. Thanks for showing it G81.

  • Argh, I want that Sega Neptune prototype so bad.

  • Stadium Events boxed...nice. Was that Star Fox 2 below it? I didn't know they actually put a cart out. That one Vetrex setup reminded me of Spaceballs for some reason. LOL. Cool to see the Neptune. I'd love to get my hands on one of those. ROBOTS! I need still need to pick up the roller controller for my Coleco. Did they have a "Spanktravision"? 10 points if you can tell me where that's from. The 2700...nice!

  • @vintagevideogamegeek isn't a spanktravision used for porno? Actually it wasn't Star Fox 2, but rather a limited promo give a way which I think was done through Blockbuster Video back in the day.

  • @Gamester81 LOL...wrong! It was from Tommy Boy...although it may have been a porno thing too...you would know better than me...ha ha! Do you know what kind of game the Blockbuster SNES cart was?

  • hey at 3:37 i own that same Texas instrument home computer :)

  • I am sure that eventually you will get all the stuff which was shown very quickly in this video, and make separate reviews for us ;)

  • Wow john, that's like old school gamer heaven. My heart stopped when i saw the neptune. Very beautiful console.

  • Wow, a lot of those stuff are in pristine condition. Must be worth a leg and arm.

  • They had a Museum over at the Midwest Gaming Classic Event also, but they wouldn't let anyone record in it. Sucked because I really wanted to show on my channel! Great vid! :)

  • what was the red tv that said nintendo on it?

  • Its as it should be, the rarest of the rare and the history of gaming in its own museum. Anybody that says they would love to rob this place is an idiot. I think its great that an event such as this is available to those that want to observe anything and everything about gaming.

  • @TheCompletionist

yeah the observation is important there needs to be gaming products just to be observed to preserve the existence of them.

  • cool

  • Great video, some good old classis for you there.

  • I would love to rob this place.

  • Aw, I wanted to see Nintendo World champion

  • insane museum tour, wish you were a bit more in-depth on a few NES/SNES games in the beginning.

    Good stuff man

  • Gamester81 = The god of youtube. This is freaking amazing! :)

  • Everything is just laying out on a table for anyone to just pocket and walk away?!

  • the apple 2 is the woz special edition or just on singed by woz

  • great vid love seeing all them classic systems

  • woah i can remember playing the vectrex. my older brothers friend had one. i thought it was awesome.

  • Really great video, cheers buddy!

  • dude thanks for sharing i was i could go to that! Is it always in Las Vegas?

  • what's that red Nintendo TV with (I think) a cartridge slot. and that board next to the Nes and the gameboy?

  • I actually have the Colecovision ADAM computer. It's a helluva lot bigger than it looks in this video, maybe 3 or 4 feet long. Really nice computer system, really.

  • They should have just released the Neptune instead of the 32X add-on.

  • fantastic video. amazing that my favourite commodore 64 game - racing destruction set was on display there. I've been playing that game for 26 years now.

intellivision I have owned since 1983

    looking forward to more videos.

  • much thanks for sharing sir, i wish i was there!

  • This really reminds me of the museum at the Midwest Classsic gaing expo last march.

Not as much stuff as that , but still some of the things in your video were at that expo too.

  • Really neat to see all of that classic memorabilia! I seem to recall playing both the Frogger and Pac Man board games when I was little.

  • Nice collection. Many of the rare systems are only rare because they failed on the market, and mostly for good reasons. It's funny to see people go gaga for them now. Bragging rights, nostalgia and monetary value aside, for playing purposes, I'd choose a modern console over anything seen here.

  • i never knew they actually made the neptune as a prototype

  • id So buy that NES +All of the games for it :P

  • Damn dude....just damn....I'm speachless right now...

  • Great vid! interesting stuff

  • Heaven exists, and it's in Las Vegas :D

  • awesome video John thanks for walking us through the museum, some of those prototypes were amazing, Sega Neptune prototype huh? that thing must be worth thousands. I am very surprised the left all that stuff so (apparently) unguarded.

  • @PeteDorr lol there was probably a guy behind him with a gun ready to shoot if he touched any of the games or systems XD

  • Silver N64 :O

  • no snes :(

  • oh and the Intellivision keyboard was released, but then recalled, that is why there is only about 30-40 left on the planet..my friend actually has one, it is really cool looking! They are worth about $5000 :O

  • I'm glad I'm not at the Classic Gaming Expo, because if I was, my head would surely implode ^_^

  • I soooo want that red Atari 2600. Great footage!

  • Oh the Adventure Vision! i'd love to come across one of those John even just to see one would be cool. My Mouth is watering at the site of some of these rare finds! wicked video john and thanks for sharing man.

  • Awesome video John! I really want to go to the expo sometime, but by then, it will be all XBOX, PS3 and Wii :P It looks really awesome :)

  • dam all those rare game systems.

  • If I went to an event like this.. I would have to pack 2 extra pair of undies. Because I know I would be changing in the middle of the event. lol

  • Thanks for the CGE videogame museum tour. Very interesting. I'm somehow surprised to not see tv screens here and there showing ads in a loop regarding these products.

I never went to CGE but I wish I could make it eventually in the future.

  • Do they have expos like these every year in Las Vegas?

  • Amazing! Looking forward to seeing more :)

  • its a never ending heaven

  • Wow, so many incredible items. You should seriously have that amazing Vectrex display someday!

  • They have a Neptune? DAMN.

  • 3:50 is the Atari XE/ NeoGeo combo prototype. Atari and SNK were thinking of doing an affordable NeoGeo console.

  • Those colored PS1's are debugs and devkits not prototypes.

  • Omg, they actually made the Neptune? I thought that was only on paper. Thats awesome man!

  • Great video. I noticed the master interface for the 5200 boxed, I have the other one. I traded a 5200 prototype for it.

  • P.S. - At 4:45, those are PS1 debug consoles.

  • 3:38 you missed the Zemmix, which is just as rare as everything else there.

  • That is is really cool that's gamester can't wait for the next vid

  • One of my friends went to that, I know there not every year but I can go to the next one whenever it is, ill have my license.

That sega neptune was preety awsome

  • It's cool to see so much history in one room. I wonder if the unreleased games were fully completed.

  • only one complaint, why a short 6 min video for such an amazing expo?

  • i've seen pictures of the neptune but I've only seen PICTURES! I never thought I'd see actual footage of one!

  • @TheGreeNate I wonder if it works?

  • awesome !

  • if i ever become a millionaire i dont think ill have a hard time wondering what i would spend my money on

  • Yeah Gamester...I didn't want to mention on the podcast that you mother was a slut but....you know...what can you do, eh? :)

Thanks for sharing my friend! As always, great stuff! Great rambling on with you the other day!

  • Holy shit, that's a lot to take in.

My neighbors owned the robot model on the far right (2000 printed on it). We would terrify each other with it.

  • Gamester81, do you remember (or does anyone know) what that Intellivision in the suitcase-type holder at 1:34 is about? Thanks for doing this video--I couldn't make it there!

  • I hope in one of the up coming videos you show halo 2600

  • Dude, I cant believe you went to this amazing gaming expo. Were any of those items for sale? I live in vegas but I never knew about this expo, and thus was not able to go. You are a really lucky guy!!!!!

  • There is definitely a generation gap. Great video, as always. Im looking forward to future podcasts!

  • I never heard of this expo before diffidently interested to see more. That red atari looked really cool i want one :)

  • A Sega Neptune? Was that a working prototype or just for display?

  • Who here doesn't want to just go down there and buy the whole store?

  • @FreshZerglings are you serious? lol

  • @Gamester81 lol ok

  • Fantastic stuff to say the least! I had thought you just decided to splay out all of your collection and make your house a museum.

  • All the game system displays look brand spanking new.

  • wow, i never knew they even made a prototype of the Neptune. tats crazy, where was CGE this year?

  • i have to clean up my drool now.

  • and that weird looking nintendo cartridge

  • In fact what were all of those games I saw star fox 2 and that special dk country cartridge but what about those games with text for the sticker?

  • where is the Neo-Geo?

  • what were the yellow nintendo cartridges?

  • 4:21 Japan got a different 2700 that was near identical to the 2600, What you see there is an upgraded 2600 that was designed to be released in the states.

They decided against releasing it when they found out that the wireless controllers worked TOO well (100 yard radius on a wireless controller) and had to can it to prevent interference with other systems when someone else nearby was also using a 2700.

  • Jeez, I think I just had a nerdgazum!

  • benheck ftw

  • that was cool.

  • so they hauled your collection to vegas to show off? Awesome vid

  • nice

  • now THAT is a museum i would heist ! forget paintings

  • sweet video! epic shiz!

  • Seen that Neptune prototype a few times now, any idea if it's actually functional?

  • Very nice!

  • was that the sealed family events that was sold recently for $40,000? Love the Vectrex Unit

  • do all of these work? or are alot of these consoles gutted? thanks for sharing this was pretty damn epic man

  • Thank you so much for posting this vid and showing off all these retro games consoles, some of which are ultra rare as you said. This video was fantastic I only wish I was there in person to see them first hand but this is the next best thing so a big thank you. Fond childhood memories came flooding back when I saw a few of the earlier systems. I loved the Vectrex and never got to own one, perhaps one day I will. Look forward to more of these vids.

  • Really fun to see all those rare systems on display, lots of interesting stuff and some of which I've never even seen before. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the coming parts.

  • The problem I have with collecting is that there is always someone else with a better collection, you just cant win.

  • Hey man it was so cool meeting u there u r a true gamer

  • Cool! Living in the UK we never had that many systems- I had a few of the UK mini handhelds? like Grandstand Sramble and a version of Space invaders, Tomy Caveman and Ninetendo Popeye with the mirror! I did have Entex Stargate but it broke! The Commodore 64 was my first computer- with the cn2 tape player- waiting for the games to load was a hit and miss affair! I ended up with an O'level grade U in Computer studies- played games too much!!!Fond memories!
