  • How do I teach my rex to "fetch?"

  • We got our cornish rex at a cat show. We live in Los Angeles, so he walks on a harness and goes everywhere because the weather is warn and sunny. He likes to ride in the car, go to Starbucks, Petco, and other leashed animal friendly places. Check out my youtube video "cat drinks from fridge" to see him push the lever and get water and ice cubes!

  • i have been looking into where i could get a cornish rex for myself, these cats just seem perfect! would you be able to tell me who was the breeder...or give any tips. would be greatly appreciated!

  • SO cute! I wish mine played this much! My cornish rex, Boujie, will only go along playing 'fetch' for about 4-5 times, then begins to bring it back and drop it farther and farther away.... then I can't reach it up to throw it anymore. LOL!

  • Wow, she's the prettiest one of those I've seen. They have almost no hair right? Is their care any different than with a hairy cat? Do they get cold, do you have to put lotion on them, etc. Thanks!

  • Cornish Rex... the big eyes, big ears, long legs, friendly and curious personality... to me, they are the most elegant , most beautiful cats, but I am in love and as a result biased. (; Cornish rex do not have much hair and may not aggravate allergies in some people... keeping my cat, I do not see any hair on cloths or furniture which is nice. Continued...

  • The not so convenient side is that I cannot take her outside in cold weather; she enjoys seeing new places and learned to walk on a harness, so I wish I could take her with me to different places more often. When she stays inside , there is no need to adjust the house temperature, if it is not freezing she is okay. I even keep the window open sometimes during winter, which she like to look out of, so it does not bother her. Continued...

  • She does love warmth though, especially at night, she sleeps under the covers. (:I do put lotion on her coat during winter, because the heating system dries the coat... what I find as the best characteristic is that Cornish are very, very friendly, Luna is never aggressive, does not bite or scratch, and adores dogs... but I guess the personality of the cat is affected by the ways of the breeder. (; Cheers!

  • Thanks for taking time to answer questions! :)

  • beautiful and intelligent...

    : )
