  • nice bro !!, hey man did you needd to use any PSU extention with this case? , i mean, eight pin cpu power conection, sata, 24 pin , etc.etc. thanks man!

  • Nice video and very good build. Just got a question, what's your temps at 4 GHz with the H50?

  • you need more fans.lol

  • All the nice gear and the "meh" H50. Need to go full custom water cooling.

  • @cbremer83 yeah that would be fun - but also another grand in parts - i'd rather get another 5870 eyefinity 6 edition and two more dell u2410s and a triple head monitor stand

  • @ethr95awd No where near a grand.

EK HF water block = $60

    Danger Den pump = $100

    Swiftech 360mm rad = $55

    Tubing = $30

    Tube style Res = $40

Use barbs instead of compression fittings and save on fittings.

If you add GPU blocks, $100-160 each depending on brand.

So, $285 CPU only and $480-605 with GPUs in single loop. That's all brand new and based on Mirocenter prices. You can save more on used blocks, rads, and res. Would sill buy new pump and tubes.

  • dude, you sound like your about to kill your self XD. Nice system though, but why on earth do you got 12GB memory? I got 4gb on my rig and never seen it fully used, under GTA 4 or anything

  • @behangman cause i am a programmer and when i fire up some virtual machines and a couple of IDEs i can push 8gb used easy

  • how much extra for the window panel?

  • @odinata $40 from coolermaster's website

  • is the corsair a good water cooling kit?

    any leaks or problems?

  • @MiK3sk8r007 yes, nope

  • time to upgrade those gpus

  • check out my profile for complete specs or my other vids. i upgraded back in October 09

  • god damn im jelous

  • How much money do you have into this?

  • too much...

  • Why don't you make a video showing the completed computer?

  • well if you check out my other vids you will see that i have not worked on the case in some time. I am going to paint it or powdercoat it when it warms up. right now its all on a tech station on my desk.

  • is ur h50 intake or exhaust

  • intake

  • Why don't you use a real water cooling system? is it worth the extra coin I know you can mount a really thick 3 by 120mm radiator on the top.

  • I've spec'd out a water cooling set up and to do it the way I want to would cost a grand.

I'd rather buy another 5870 and 2 more dell u2410 for that money

  • FYI it's cooler having the h50 exhaust air. it only says to intake in the manual for the people who don't have exhaust fans on top. my antec 902 tried both setups (exhaust and intake) and i got a 2 degrees difference from it being an exhaust, plus you don't have to worry about the dust filter. I have it on push/pull with S flex type F, but the best fan from what i read is gentle typhoon. good stuff man.

  • temp?????

  • what is a cold cathode

  • @SILENTIMACT74 they are lights that you can add to your case. kinda like a neon under the car :)

  • I really like that case. But I don't like the color inside of the case. If I would buy this case I would paint it black inside.

  • thinking about it

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, I hope you will (:

  • Just too balling.

  • TY!

  • How have you Install you corsair H50 watercooling systeem? i mean dont you need a liquid pomp? abit curious how corsair H50 works.

what is the temp of you CPU idle and load.

  • Comment removed

  • It comes with a pump and liquid in the box

  • One more question sir, If I use two Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000RPM 120mm fans on the corsair H50 using push pull, will it be ok to use a spiter to power the fans. Thanks for your time.

  • if they are pwm fans it should work

  • whats your CPU temps?

also are you using push pull now>? for the cpu cooler

  • i am currently using a single delta, since it is all mounted on my tech station. i've not worked on the case for some time. have not taken the time to work on it lately

  • Please help me were did you buy the 230mm Blue Fans?

  • performance-pcs (dot) com

  • @ethr95awd

    Thanks...

Newegg didn't have them so i thought i was screwed

  • @ethr95awd

    I looked and I can find 230mm.....

Can you PM me the direct link please. :)

    thanks

  • wow that's one hell of a mess even with a modular psu.

  • What you said about having to remove the bottom 140mm fan to clean the PSU dust filter being a nightmare made me laugh out loud! I think the ATCS 840 is way overkill. I think I will buy a HAF 932 instead, if not a Storm Sniper.

  • I posted another video where I show a mod to the case so that this is not a problem. Check it out.

  • uuggghhhh.. clean up your workstation. I would go bonkers with all that mess. :(

  • subscribe and maybe you will get your wish

  • Nice build but clean up your work area.

  • Yes mom.

  • damn brother fantastic build what kind of temps are you getting with that cpu cooler

  • check out my other videos where i test the h50 with a couple different fan combos - more fan tests later.

  • just subed bro watched the vids on your chanel what do ya think about the performance of the h50 those temps are kinda high but for 4 ghz i guess what could one exspect hope you get those other test vid out quick

  • they are a little high but its c0 chip - i also have a TRUE and it gave me similar temps

  • Hey sorry Im in class and dont have time to watch the videos. Whats the best way to cool the CPU with the h50?

  • intake cool air from the outside of the case over the radiator and then exhaust the warm air out the top of the case.

  • Why'd ya spend so much on the hard drives, i would have gotten just 2 or 3 and gotten stuff for custom water cooling

  • I've had the two raptor-x since 2007 so I didn't spend money for this rig on those. I would love to build with a true water cooling kit and have priced out the parts and it pushes a grand; way more than I spent on drives. But really I just need the storage.

  • how is that corsair H50? cools nice? i know it's not better than the watercooling for sure

  • Cools great. It's not the best. I have done some testing with different fans. I have 3 more sets of fans to test but that will have to wait until I am done modding the case. I think the best feature is that it cools as well as any air cooler but would be much safer to ship.

  • great vid 5/5

  • The one is this video came from Cooler Master. They have an online store. Just search their site for "atcs 840" and it should be in the results.

I just received a window kit from frozencpu that I am going to use on the stock panel. I will post a video of that when it is done. Not sure when tho.

  • Since you're doing a build as extreme as this why didn't you go with gtx 295 x2 or even gtx 285x2?

  • Well money actually. I spent about 180-190 on each card back in April. Just one GeForce 285 is still going for $350.Another reason is that I was AMD to survive so I want to make sure I through them some money when I can to help keep Intel a little bit honest. Also my resolution is only 1600x1200 so I really don't need 285x2 or 295x2.

  • Im also running RAID 5 with 4 1TB samsung drives, wondered what temperatures you get on the controller assuming you use the onboard.

  • I don't know, have not looked into it.

  • Nice Rig! You should have cut your own widow, then you could have made it any size.

Also IMO CFM and dBA are more important than RPM's.

Some fans run at a lower RPM's but move more air, balance that with noise level and you have a good fan.

    Cheers

    LazyMan :-) 5/5 Starz

  • I am definitely going to cut my own window using the stock panel. I just wanted a "back out" plan if I f'd it all up or it didn't turn out the way I wanted :)

  • whats the temp difference between the corsair kit and true? was it worth the upgrade?

  • I didn't upgrade to the corsair to lower the temps. Just liked the product and wanted to try it out and continue the corsair theme (psu, heatsink, memory, memory cooler and some time soon the corsair obsidian 800d case)

  • Thanks for the sub! This build looks great man... I absolutely love this case. Love all the PWM fans. Yeah I don't know why Cooler Master made the fan filter inside the case, since the other one is outside the case. Go figure... look forward to the final product!

  • Thank you for the sub!

  • we should have like a CoolerMaster Team in youtube, so guys can share vids of their CM cases mod.

  • I know that cooler master has a channel - they should link to our vids!

  • wait do you have 2 brideges on the cards for crossfire? i didn't know that worked

  • Yeah it works. Mostly just as a place to put the extra one I have so I don't lose it. You only need one :)

  • Thanks for the comment. Doing some projects around the house this week. Hope to have some time to work on cable management this weekend.

  • YEah i would love to see the finished project... awesome CASE

  • WOW! That's 1 amazing build! Looks like cable management nightmare! Can't wait to see the finished PC! 5/5

  • Thank you for the compliment. Yes the cables are a big mess. I spent some time cleaning it up yesterday. I still have the cold cathodes and sata cables to deal with and a few other fan cables. Time and patience I guess.
