Buddy Rich is sadly no longer with us, but he used to have The Buddy Rich Orchestra who played behind him...not to many drummers with their own orchestra.

The drummer playing for Animal is Ronnie Verrell. Funny, in all the postings of his clip, no one every seemed to ask who was actually playing against Buddy Rich. When I first saw it, all I could think about was, whoever the other drummer was, he must be a motherfucker of a player, to pull it off. Ronnie Verrell did all of Animal's drumming, he died in 2002, he was a well regarded big band drummer in the UK. Animal's voice is done by Frank Oz, until recently replaced by Eric Jacobson.
