Hi just have a quick question I am buying the probe 3 and the x360usb do i need to buy the ck3 for power does this just make it easier or can I just use the xbox for power thanks

i did this and when i pressed the lite on erase it said it was cancelled and since i didnt see a reason why it would and i was in a rush and still am, i pressed the erase button and it also was cancelled and the fw wont write and now jf doesnt find my drive. what do i do?

You haven't actually explained where the blue sticker in the beginning is for. Also you havent explained on what contact the probe should hit the drive, it's had to see. Also you haven't explained how to hook everything up. NIce tutorial tough, but i need some more info before flashing!

@VVwoerd -Actually you haven't listed correctly because I clearly say MXP01 point. Blue sticker, no idea what your talking about???

If you can't figure out how to hook up the CK3/X360 to your PC then stay away because it's common sense.

I was using my xbox as power and i messed up on the erase lite on part and now my drive wont turn on or anything is there a way to recover this?

@ImTiming - Yes, just do the lite-on erase and power cycle and it will go into vendor mode. You will probably be banned from XBOX Live soon because of this though.

my question is this... what if u are flashing a drive that already has a previous LT version... can u make a video that shows how to flash back to stock and then to update? or is it okay just to erase and Write like u did in this video?

@darkerca - You got everything you need, just make sure you Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows and make sure the X360USB Pro drivers are installed correctly.

MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR DVD KEY

Thank you, for the feedback. 20 bucks is cheap. But im guessing that you live in the US. Im from Denmark, so its gonna be a huge shipping fee (35 bucks each way). Or else i would've done it.

Id make sure to install the drivers correctly, and disable the signatre enforcement. But im not sure that i understood the "Make sure you save your dvd key" part. What do u mean mate ?:O

@darkerca - I hear you, that makes sense.

What i mean is when you dump your FW make sure you write your key down or print it to a piece of paper. You have all the right tools so you should have no issue flashing but in case you mess up you want to have your key on something physical like a piece of paper.

Each time I flash a XBOX I print the DVD Key to a label and stick it on the bottom of the metal chassis.

@darkerca - Flash 1.91 now then 2.0 when it's out, it could be week(s)+ until it's out, who knows.

You can patch/verify if you like. From my experience if you don't play on XBOX Live then you have nothing to worry about.

@darkerca - You can play on XBL just make sure you burn your backup correctly with stealth patches and run it through ABGX. You can also download your backups pre-patched.
