I want to recommend a listening site that is called Through the Bible with Les Feldick, free listening on the web. I would listen to it and Perry Stone's teachings on utube, many arab moslems are his friends, and he deals with end time prophecy. I think that in these end times we have to be aware of what has gone before in God's plan. You may oppose, but God works in mysterious ways, and you never know when you are entertaining with angels.
I read the Bible and I find it is so reliable with the way the old testament prophecies are fulfilled which indicates the validation of truth. The last prophecy which is recorded by Daniel, and who Jesus mentions in his sermon, matches up perfectly to John' s Revelation. Even the current events of today, with the waters of the Euphrates drying up, the middle east situation, all match up with what will happen as foretold. Too much truth to push aside, for a Holy Book that is supposedly altered.
The problem with any book after the Bible is that the Word of God clearly states that if anyone adds to or subtracts from this Holy Book will experience all the plagues written therein. You have the Quran that states Jesus Christ did not die on the cross, nor was he ressurected, and according to Jesus's own words as witnessed by thousands that would call him a liar. The old testament gives account of Christ's birth, death as a curse, and resurrection, so now the Old testament would be a lie.

Also "Before Abraham was, I have" makes absolutely no sense in the context of John 8.

The correct translation is I AM, and even if it is not claiming to be Yahweh, (which is what I AM translates to in hebrew (or Jehovah) then he is at least claiming to be eternal and there is some divinity implied there. So he claims to be God or another god.

Jesus came not only to save us from our sins but in doing so he humbled himself below the father who was in heaven. This is to show us how to be before God.

The very first thing if you remember is, God said "Let there be light" and there was light. This shows that light can exist independant of the source. We know this is true, Light exists in photons which are both wave and particle and aren't connected to the source. (how can a photon be both a wave and a particle :s how can God be both a son and a Father :s Reality is not dependant on our understanding of it)

with the 8 day creation, it is said to be a translation error, but it can be translated either way. The 6 day creation is elsewhere in the qu'ran. Even if both accounts do say 6 day it is the same creation as the bible, so i don't see the problem.

Genesis 1 and 2 have no contradiction. Genesis 1 says that both man and woman were created within 1 day, not at the exact same time.
I have already stated that Jesus said he was God and the words he used. Putting that aside, my argument doesn't fail because i didn't put forth an argument that Jesus was God in my question. I simply asked you if you thought it was possible for God to do so. It is very possible that God could enter into his own creation, be it Jesus or otherwise, and not actually say he was God. The fact would still be true that he dwells in his creation.

The truth is you read the qu'ran first. It told you what to think and you accepted that as truth. You then applied that "truth" to the bible and now you can't see the bible without the qu'ran's perspective on things

@RenegadeMaster07 You should start with the Torah then New Testament (Christian translation and Jehovah's Witness translation) decide which of them is correct, then move on to the Book of Mormon and the Qu'ran. Not just the book you want to be true.
Look at all of these books in that order, and get to know all perspectives on God and the contradictions will show you what is true.
That way you are being honest about it and understanding the real differences and not a biased persepctive.

@novamongoose Um actually no- let me explain. In Genesis God promises to bless the nations through the descendents of Abraham. He speaks of this promise before the birth of Abraham's son Ishmael and also after the birth of Ishmael/ before birth of Isaac. The lineage of Isaac results in a whole line of Israelite Prophets (which Muslims accept), however Ishmael's descendents give rise to one last prophet - Muhammad (PBUH).

I want to recommend a listening site that is called Through the Bible with Les Feldick, free listening on the web. I would listen to it and Perry Stone's teachings on utube, many arab moslems are his friends, and he deals with end time prophecy. I think that in these end times we have to be aware of what has gone before in God's plan. You may oppose, but God works in mysterious ways, and you never know when you are entertaining with angels.

I read the Bible and I find it is so reliable with the way the old testament prophecies are fulfilled which indicates the validation of truth. The last prophecy which is recorded by Daniel, and who Jesus mentions in his sermon, matches up perfectly to John' s Revelation. Even the current events of today, with the waters of the Euphrates drying up, the middle east situation, all match up with what will happen as foretold. Too much truth to push aside, for a Holy Book that is supposedly altered.

The problem with any book after the Bible is that the Word of God clearly states that if anyone adds to or subtracts from this Holy Book will experience all the plagues written therein. You have the Quran that states Jesus Christ did not die on the cross, nor was he ressurected, and according to Jesus's own words as witnessed by thousands that would call him a liar. The old testament gives account of Christ's birth, death as a curse, and resurrection, so now the Old testament would be a lie.

1. You need a sharp blade and a quick death by the neck
2. Only the person who sinned can sacrafice (Jesus pbuh did not sin according to christians)

Think of a room. Inside that room are 3 persons, yet it is 1 room, 1 conversation. That is the trinity. 1 conciousness of 3 persons.
I AM is not a mistranslation. The very next verse the jews try to stone him for his blasphemy. Jesus said earlier "if you do not believe that I AM you will die in your sins".
Also "Before Abraham was, I have" makes absolutely no sense in the context of John 8.

@RenegadeMaster07 When asked "you are not yet 50 years and you have seen Abraham?" to say "Before Abraham was, I have" does not suggest he has seen Abraham, it sounds more like he was alive before Abraham was and he saw him before this.
The correct translation is I AM, and even if it is not claiming to be Yahweh, (which is what I AM translates to in hebrew (or Jehovah) then he is at least claiming to be eternal and there is some divinity implied there. So he claims to be God or another god.

Jesus came not only to save us from our sins but in doing so he humbled himself below the father who was in heaven. This is to show us how to be before God.
Obviously a God must allow himself to be harmed in the first place. He even washed the feet of the disciples, does this mean that they are better than him? Not at all, but it is how we should treat one another.

The very first thing if you remember is, God said "Let there be light" and there was light. This shows that light can exist independant of the source. We know this is true, Light exists in photons which are both wave and particle and aren't connected to the source. (how can a photon be both a wave and a particle :s how can God be both a son and a Father :s Reality is not dependant on our understanding of it)

with the 8 day creation, it is said to be a translation error, but it can be translated either way. The 6 day creation is elsewhere in the qu'ran. Even if both accounts do say 6 day it is the same creation as the bible, so i don't see the problem.

Jesus said he was the I AM on more than one occasion. This is translated correctly and the jewish reaction to it proves it's what he meant.

I have already stated that Jesus said he was God and the words he used. Putting that aside, my argument doesn't fail because i didn't put forth an argument that Jesus was God in my question. I simply asked you if you thought it was possible for God to do so. It is very possible that God could enter into his own creation, be it Jesus or otherwise, and not actually say he was God. @RenegadeMaster07 You should start with the Torah then New Testament (Christian translation and Jehovah's Witness translation) decide which of them is correct, then move on to the Book of Mormon and the Qu'ran. Not just the book you want to be true.
Look at all of these books in that order, and get to know all perspectives on God and the contradictions will show you what is true.
That way you are being honest about it and understanding the real differences and not a biased persepctive.

The Imam says that History shows Jesus was a Jew. Jews are the descendants of Isaac. Muslims claim Jesus was a prophet. Muhammed claimed the prophetic line was from Ishmael not Isaac. According to your book, showing miracles and signs is not the criteria to judge a prophet. If you know enough your own religion you would not be talking.

@novamongoose he never claimed to be the greatest -in fact the Quran says that the prophets are all equal in God's eyes. In terms of everything else you are saying, I just want to say that please atleast try to legitimately learn about the religion, read the Quran and Islam's history. If then you choose to hate on my religion I won't hold it against you. However, I have generally found that people who spread hate on Islam seem to feel threatened by it- but never give it a fair chance.

The Old Testament also says that Sarah asked Abraham to take Hajar AS A WIFE ..so dont try to point out that she was just an egyptian slave..Ishamel was the first born son ..not isaac hense ishmael was the promised son where was isaac when abraham circumcized himself and his son ..? he wasn't born yet ishamel was 13 years old

why quote the parts of the old testemant you want to believe and then count out what goes against your lone "prophet's" blatant plaguerism? God further goes on to say he will bless Ishmael but Isaac will be the son of promise. Ishmael was born because Abraham didn't believe God and turned to a woman besides his wife Sara.

@novamongoose Um actually no- let me explain. In Genesis God promises to bless the nations through the descendents of Abraham. He speaks of this promise before the birth of Abraham's son Ishmael and also after the birth of Ishmael/ before birth of Isaac. The lineage of Isaac results in a whole line of Israelite Prophets (which Muslims accept), however Ishmael's descendents give rise to one last prophet - Muhammad (PBUH).

@fopower ALL PROPHETS OF YAHWEH CAME FROM THE JEWS!!! There is NOTHING in Scripture that supports the false prophet Mohammad. This is wishful thinking on the part of Muslims. Ishmael was NEVER promised that a prophet would come through his lineage. Read the Scripture...

@The3in1trinity You know what, I really should read the scripture. I hope one day I can find the time to actually read the Torah and Bible and compare them to the Quran and study their history. But, I think at this point I have done enough research to know that prophet Mohammed was God's last messenger, and I doubt further research will take this belief away from me.

@fopower I can't call something that i believe (based on the Inspired Word of God the Bible) satanic such as the koran good when the Bible shows me that the koran is satanic + a counterfeit of God's Word. If u haven't bothered 2 read the Torah + God's Word then how can u have done enough research 2 know what is truth from lies? The koran denies the need 4 a Saviour + believes Muslims can reach God through their own efforts. God's Word says the opposite. It's up 2 u 2 read if u want truth...

@The3in1trinity No, actually I know christians who are respectful enough to simply say that they do not believe Islam is God's religion.
I may not have read the Bible or Torah cove to cover but I have studied the relgions, their beliefs and histories. To me, things just don't add up for these two religions. There are gaps in christianity and judaisms beliefs which negate their validity to me. I doubt even you have read the Quran from cover to cover in an english translation.

The Bible SHOWS that there is no prophet called Mohammad 2 come + no new revelation of the false satanic counterfeit koran. THE BIBLE GIVES NO SUPPORT 4 THE koran in any way. We believe that God is a being of three seperate persons in 1 being. Some believe the universe exists inside the very mind or being of God, so it is not difficult to imagine.
And the qu'ran actually says "Do not say 3" as in 3 God's. It thought christians were polytheists, this has never been true.

@RenegadeMaster07 The qu'ran is wrong that christians believe in 3 god's, we have never made such a claim. This means its inaccurate but it also means you're not disobeying the qu'ran to believe in the God of the bible.
Further more the qu'ran also says that Mary is a god and part of the trinity. This is also untrue, and wasn't considered by any denomination until long after the qu'ran was written. If God wrote the qu'ran, he would know these things.

I am not dis-obeying the quran to belief in the god of the bible. I belief in ONE-GOD with no partners, no equals nor begotten sons, if the bible agrees with this i accept, also i think the bible teaches something difrent then the christian roman actually mis-intrepeted it.

both Jesus and the Holy spirit are in the old testament.
There are christians today who believe Mary is godlike, but this is a newer believe as i said, and she isn't necessarily considered part of the trinity, just as a counterfit to Jesus.

I don't believe in a creation of God and i only believe that a body was created for Jesus, but that body was not the first time Jesus is in the bible.
Abraham was met by God in the form of a man outside his tent, Genesis 18. Jacob physically wrestled with God later in Genesis and his hip socket was dislocated.

@Lizzio1980 I think you forget that God has control of his own power as well. To be infinitely powerful does not mean every action would be done with infinite power, you cannot finely craft a universe or even a human body as delicate as ours without incredible control.
So when God wrestled with Jacob, it does not mean that an infinite amount of power was thrown at Jacob, of course not. Also notice that God one the fight. So if we are doing this by our own human reasoning then that's your answer

@Lizzio1980 my church didn't teach me any lies. I learn most of this on my own. I actually read the scriptures and learn what my own religion teaches. I've considered Islam and Judaism. Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness, and 7 day adventist christians. I'm not just blindly believing lies that are meant to fit the elders purposes, not at all.
In fact in the type of church i go to almost every single person brings their bible every time they are in church and they pay attention and disagree sometimes

So what it says is very important, and where the qu'ran contradicts is where the qu'ran got it wrong. It was written last.
You want to find out about God, go back to Genesis, start reading without the glasses of Islam telling what is and is not true about the very religions it came from.

@RenegadeMaster07 That's what i did and i believe in Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, if i didn't i would be a jew. There is no reason for me to jump to Islam that arrived 600 years later and contradicted the scriptures. Amazingly, even the Torah which Jesus believed were true.
In all this time there hasn't been any reason to believe that they are any different to the original documents. "the Qu'ran said so" isn't a good justification. That's a belief, not based on facts.

Why would I go to Christianity if Judaism came from God? Because Jesus Christ not only said he was God he proved it with symbolic miracles, and fulfilled prophecy proving him to be the Messiah.
Why would I go to Islam beyond Christianity and Judaism? No reason. A man said i should.

but when you argue against catholicism when talking to a christian, you just look ignorant. Truth is not about numbers, its about the scriptures and the evidence, and that's what my faith (christianity) is based on.

@RenegadeMaster07 like in science, where not all scientists agree with every theory, Christian's also do not agree with every interpretation. So we always go back to the scriptures and look to see what it actually says, and we understand it from there.
Then we discuss it together in study and help each other with our understanding. Pitch ideas to one another, talk them out, and we don't even have to agree :) So no one forces lies upon another like you may see elsewhere, we try to find the truth
