Bush has never been known to be anything other than a pompous self-deluded bufoon so his performance here is more consistent with his character. There was a long pause and hesitation with The Traitor during the 04 debates, but it wasn't 45 seconds long. IIRC, it was more like 10-15 seconds, which is an eternity for TV or radio.

You see his eye's moving from left to right in true NLP fashion as he downloads the right answer. You can't ask him a question that hasn't been prepared for or Youtube gets another masterpiece of Dummery.

And please refer to him as "President Bush" and not just Bush. I would call Barack Obama "President Obama" if he were to be elected even though I don't agree with him on the issues.

The video is definitely edited into 7 second segments starting just after he makes a vocalization and takes a slight breath in (note his shoulders raise slightly). Every seven seconds the same mannerisms are repeated (blinking and inhale). 100% definite.

takezo3001, I'm a hobby-level DV editor, and I could easily produce a video like this. I can't say definitively whether this video was edited, but I'm inclined to think it was. And if it was edited, it's very well done.

I dont think its funny when its edited like this. Bush looks dumb and is pretty funny without needing to be edited. I wouldn't mind seeing the real clip; I bet its a cringe for republicans, anyway.

You would have to split it, however, as you can see
the pixols on both halves do NOT change, they
remain consistant in themselves.
