wooow, it`s black and white , nobody talks in it and the plot is weird...this obviously makes people think, this is art, but it really isn`t. it`s crap. even if you understand what this is all about, it`s definitely NOT a good movie.

@Bongogato What, because it doesn't follow the standard Hollywood plot line, watered down "stock characters", or entertain with witty banter and action sequences? I know it sounds pretentious, but David Lynch films are far richer in material than mainstream films. We're all just used to having the message spoon fed to us.

@pslek How is this movie good? It's the most ridiculous this I've ever seen. It is so weird I don't know how anyone can like this. I'm not trying to be mean.....but can you tell me what makes this movie good?

@darktiger113 For me this film is very experiential. I wouldn't watch it to be entertained by a fascinating plot, I would watch it to experience something bizarre and terrifying (by the end of the film I was literally gripping the chair and begging the TV to stop making that noise). I find it so much more effective than your usual horror movies where things jump out to scare you. But you definitely have to be in the right mood!
